In the fall of 2018, Richelieu launched a brand-new category of luxury decorative hardware for the very high-end market.
Two distinctive collections of European imports & above quality standards:
Autore*Collection (Italian made by European designers)
Muse*by Jean-Claude Poitras (created in Montreal, produced in Italy under the signature of a worldwide leading interior designer)
Richelieu will offer a special partnership with chosen “Exclusive Distributors” for the sales of these high-end products. Only selected “Exclusive Distributors” will be allowed to grant a deep discount on suggested retail prices for these refined knobs & handles (0.405 multiplier). All other customers who wish to purchase Autore & Muse Collections items from us (on Richelieu website) will pay for products at the list price (suggested retail price) without any possibility of discounts.
We will first refer customers and individuals to these “Exclusive Distributors” Responsibility of the customer service of the Richelieu branch nearest to the authorised account. These Distributors will have the opportunity to sell the hardware at a lower price than the Richelieu website. If a customer prefers to place the order directly on their account, we will do it as a second option (@ full list price) Therefore we protect the 50%-10%-10% discount of our Distributor-partners at all time.
To become an authorized Distributor, reseller or a KB dealer using these products on their own KB projects, we offer an easy, flexible and unconstrained sales conditions:
• We ask the new Distributor/dealer to talk about themselves and these new exclusive collections. With a simple promotional ad to be prepared by the Distributor/dealer, approved by Richelieu and run in any media in the region of the Distributor/dealer, Richelieu will immediately credit 100% of the initial investment of $3,000 for the 11 displays & 3 towers. We make it easier to introduce this program by increasing communication and NOT having the Distributor to pay for the displays.
• Market protection in the region where the Distributor/dealer exercises its business, We restrict the amount of authorised accounts to avoid market overlaping and limit competition. We will secure only a few Distributors/dealers within a region or state that are not directly competiting against each other.
