Operation Blessing Partnering with a common purpose! Connect Groups are uniting together with GSCC Operation Blessing, uniting as one church to reach out to the local, national and global communities, forging closer bonds with God and each other. What is GSCC Operation Blessing? GSCC Operation Blessing is an opportunity, each season, for each Connect Group (one month September through December) to be intentional about creating change in their communities by personally investing their time, talents and resources into the lives of those in need through specific outreaches. During the rest of the year Connect Groups can get creative and participate in various outreaches that they come up with are that are available within the area. Getting Started Each Connect Group will select or create an outreach opportunity and work together to make a BIG difference in the lives of others! •

Search available outreach opportunities. a. Back to School Outreach b. Neighborhood Connect c. Homes of Hope d. Thanksgiving Outreach e. Christmas Outreach f. Jail/Prison Outreach

Or, be creative and come up with an outreach of your own!

Have FUN! Prepare to see your group grow closer to God and each other through service. Discover new levels of compassion, caring, commitment and change that will be long-lasting!

Serve dinner to families at the local mission.

Support members in your Connect group who have lost a loved one, been released from a job, suffered from an illness, etc...

Minister to residents of a nursing home through prayer, worship, games and one-on-one ministry.

Collect clothing, food, furniture or gifts for a women's shelter.

Assist a school nurse by collecting items to meet children's needs.
