WHAT IS LEADERFEST?
It's a one-day (with some overnight options) fun, casual and relaxing learning event for Girl Scout volunteers. It is a chance to sit back, enjoy yourself, make new friends and join others to learn some new skills or activities. If you want, you may come up to camp on Friday evening or stay over on Saturday night for more time with friends.
New troop leaders get the Early Bird pricing no matter when they register. Reach out to your Engagement Manager for the coupon code.
Leaderfest offers an optional children's program for school age children (boys and girls in grades K-5) from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. While you enjoy Leaderfest, your kids will follow the Winkle Trail to the Land of Mary Leach, where they will have an outdoor adventure full of crafts, games and fun! Lunch is provided.

THE ED WHITMIRE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Ed Whitmire was a dedicated trainer for both the Pisgah and Hornets’ Nest Girl Scout councils for many years. After his death in 2005, the Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont Ed Whitmire Scholarship Fund was created in his honor as a way of continuing his work of training and inspiring adult Girl Scout volunteers.
Each year, the fund is fed and nurtured by fundraising at our three Adult Learning Events. If you have donated or purchased items offered at the auctions at these events, YOU are helping to continue Ed’s work. Thank you!
If you receive a scholarship to attend adult learning events, you are also helping to continue his legacy. Please don’t let financial issues keep you from the fun, fellowship and training available to you here at GSCP2P! P2P registered adults in good standing may apply for up to 75% of registration and course fees (not commemorative items). All requested information must be completed fully and submitted by the Early Bird registration deadline (September 4) in order to be considered for a scholarship. Once approved, a scholarship code will be provided to allow online registration for the learning event.
There is now an easier way to apply! You can use our online scholarship application by going to girlscoutsp2p.wufoo.com/ forms/pdgs6dj0f99shr.
No computer access? Scholarship applications may also be completed by calling 800-672-2148.

This program is for girls and boys in grades K - 5 and runs from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Drop off starts at 7:45 a.m. and campers should be picked up by 5:45 p.m. Cost for the children’s program is $15 per child and includes lunch and two snacks, which they will be preparing. (Parents have the option to send their campers a lunch.)
