Confidentiality Agreement
THIS CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT (THE “AGREEMENT”), EFFECTIVE AS OF THIS ____

AND _________________________________, SERVING IN THE
CAPACITY OF ________________________________________ (POSITION).
Term This Agreement applies to communication and interactions between the above named ministry leader or staff member and Hillside Discipleship Church related to the leader’s position and duties during the period of time beginning on the date set forth above and ending on the later of, ________________________ or the term of service (the “Exchange Period”), unless otherwise earlier terminated.
Acknowledgement The leader or staff member understands and acknowledges that in his/her Position he/she will receive confidential information pertaining to the ministry activities, operations and the business of Hillside Discipleship Church and/or financial and personal information of Hillside Discipleship Church members ("Confidential Information"). The ministry leader or staff member further acknowledges that disclosure of such Confidential Information may be detrimental to the Hillside Discipleship Church members and/or Hillside Discipleship Church. 1

Confidentiality Ministry leader or staff member agrees not to disclose or discuss Confidential Information with others not authorized to receive such; use reasonable means to protect and prevent the disclosure of Confidential Information, whether oral or written; and use the Confidential Information only in connection with Hillside Discipleship Church Business during the Exchange Period. The ministry leader or staff member may disclose Confidential Information to the Pastor, Eldership Team, specific leadership member(s) of Hillside Discipleship Church and only such member(s) that have a real need to know or as otherwise directed by Hillside Discipleship Church.
Consequences Upon any violation of this Agreement by the ministry leader or staff member, Hillside Discipleship Church may in its sole discretion remove such Individual immediately from said Position and prevent such Individual from serving in any other leadership role or position at Hillside Discipleship Church that involves receipt of Confidential Information.
In Witness Whereof, the parties have duly executed and delivered this Agreement as of the date first set forth above.
