BLACKTANGO Partners with LEGACY Institute to launch new website Slidell, LA, March 6, 2014: – Blacktango Media, an Austin-based marketing company has partnered with LEGACY Institute to launch a new website for the Slidell based youth mentoring program. The site will serve as a communication and interaction platform for LEGACY Institute participants, parents, and youth workers to stay current with workshops, seminars, as well as other programs and services. “We are excited about the new website and the options it provides participants and adults. The highlight of the site is the new What’s Going On? Forum which will serve as a peer communication tool for junior high and high school participants to share their great ideas, success stories, and general questions. Blacktango Media personnel crafted the site with our organization’s success in mind and we are thankful to Dan Perlman and his team for investing quality resources into marketing LEGACY Institute,” said LEGACY Institute Program Director, Wimbai Mutonono. The new website, http://legacy.gs-li.org, will give participants the opportunity to build on relationships with local and national youth and learn from each other through sharing ideas and experiences. Participants will also be able to stay current with workshops, job shadowing opportunities, youth expos, and other youth development services and events within the Greater New Orleans Area. The site’s Volunteer and Partnerships sections will present opportunities to adults, business professionals, community leaders, and entrepreneurs to serve as mentors, workshop facilitators, program partners and donors or investors. “My team and I are really proud to be part of the terrific work that Wimbai is doing with LEGACY Institute,” said Dan Perlman, CEO Blacktango Media. “Nothing seems more important to us than working with organizations like Gulf South Leadership Institute.
