Girl Scout Cookies are an incredible opportunity for girls to do extraordinary things. By participating in the cookie program, girls learn important life skills like goal setting and money management. All dollars earned stay local and fuel new and unique experiences. Whether it’s a trip she’ll never forget, a service project that will change her community forever, or a lifetime of memories built at camp, the Girl Scout Cookie Program can make it happen. Your girls will transform through participation in the Cookie Program, designed to develop five critical skills:

Girls set cookie sales goals and, with their team, create a plan to reach them. This matters because girls need to know how to set and reach goals to succeed in school, on the job, and in life.

Girls decide where and when to sell cookies, how to market their sale, and what to do with their earnings. This matters because girls must make many decisions, big and small, in their lives. Learning this skill helps them make good ones.

Girls develop a budget, take cookie orders, and handle customers’ money. This matters because girls need to know how to handle money—from their lunch money to their allowance to (someday) their paycheck.

Girls learn how to talk (and listen!) to their customers, as well as how to work as a team with other girls. This matters because it helps them do better in school (on group projects, on sports teams, and on the playground) and, later, at work.

Girls act honestly and responsibly during every step of the cookie sale. This matters because employers want to hire ethical employees—and the world needs ethical leaders in every field.

Don’t forget that holding a parent information meeting is one step toward qualifying for the Troop Bonus*, and the foundation of clear communication between you, the troop cookie coordinator, and your Girl Scout families.

Read the Cookie Scoop and all other materials provided to you at training so you are able to answer questions. If your troop participated in Fall Product Program ensure your council bill is paid. Sign into MY GS and check that all your girls are registered and on your roster. If not, contact us at 877-312-4764. All adults who will assist in any way with the Cookie Program must be registered and have a background check on file.

Inform parents/guardians of the meeting, and that girls may NOT participate without a completed permission slip. Fill in girl order cards with important information: girls’ first name & last initial, troop number, and program dates. Touch base with parents by phone, email, or text to ensure at least one representative from each family will participate in the meeting. Review the “no sell” list prior to the meeting and contact any parent who may be on the list.

Your Parent Information Meeting Agenda While parents are arriving, ask them to sign-in on an attendance sheet at the door. Begin the meeting with introductions and then discuss the benefits of the girls’ participation in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, including the 5 Skills: People Skills, Decision Making, Goal Setting, Business Ethics, and Money Management.

Discuss restrictions and safety for the girls while selling in person and online (page 10). Discuss troop goals with the girls so they can decide the use of the proceeds following the program. Visit www.abcsmartcookies.com for ways to help girls set their goals. Discuss how many booth sales you will do and your sign up process, so that all girls have the opportunity to participate. Money Matters: Cookies are sold for $5 per package. Money is collected at delivery; parents are responsible for collecting and turning in the money. Schedule times that parents can submit the money and ALWAYS give receipts. It is recommended that you always recount money in the presence of the parent. It is important that parents understand the deadlines for turning in money. This will ensure that the necessary money is in the troop account to meet the finance deadlines. Have parents fill out the permission slip completely; if the girl has two households, both adults should fill out a form. Using the cookie order card, discuss the varieties and nutritional information, along with allergen warnings. Instruct how to fill out the card and when it will be due.

Discuss cookie responsibility. All cookies received by the troop are the troop’s responsibility—no cookies will be returned to GSMH. Likewise, all cookies checked out to girls will become the responsibility of the girl. Remind parents that there are many opportunities for the girls to receive additional cookies throughout the direct sale portion of the program instead of acquiring a large quantity all at once. Discuss the Smart Cookies online sales portion of the program: girl order cards vs. online sales cards, and Smart Cookies mobile (page 11). Discuss the Cookie Share program and review the requirements to earn the Cookie Share patch. Discuss the logistics and procedures for picking up the initial troop orders. For additional options for Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassador girls, review the 5¢ Option on page 21.

Before participating in Girl Scout Cookie Program activities, it is imperative that you review these rules with your Girl Scouts and make sure they follow them. This helps to ensure a safe, fun, and successful experience. •

Girls should always wear a Girl Scout membership pin and/or Girl Scout clothing to identify themselves as a Girl Scout. Uniforms are encouraged. Be familiar with the areas and neighborhoods in which you will be selling Girl Scout Cookies. An adult must always accompany Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors when they are taking orders, selling or delivering Girl Scout Cookies. An adult must know when Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors are selling. Two approved adult volunteers must be present at Girl Scout Cookie booths regardless of the girls’ grade level. Only sell and deliver Girl Scout Cookies in the daytime. Never enter a person’s home or vehicle when you are selling or making deliveries. Always use the buddy system! It’s not just safe, it’s more fun. Be prepared for emergencies! Also, have a plan to safeguard money. Avoid walking around with large amounts or keeping it at home, in the car, or at school. As soon as possible, give money to your troop cookie coordinator. Follow safe pedestrian practices, especially at intersections and walking along roadways. Be aware of traffic when unloading cookies and passengers from vehicles.

Girls’ names and contact information should never be given out to customers. Instead, give the troop/group number and an approved phone number of an adult, or email for customers to request information or order. Girls are encouraged to utilize the online store from the girl dashboard in Smart Cookies. This is a safe site for girls to share their Cookie Program with friends and family through email, text messages, and private social media site posts. Before engaging in online activities, girls must have their parents’ permission to participate in the online portion of the program. All girls must read and sign the Internet Safety Pledge found in the searchable forms directory at girlscoutsmoheartland.org. Additionally, parents/guardians must read and abide by the Terms and Conditions for Parents/Guardians. Girl Scouts can only sell cookies online with Smart Cookies. Online sale sites, online auction sites, or any other public online sites are prohibited; and girls, parents, and third parties may not accept payment for Girl Scout Cookies online except through Smart Cookies.

Cookie Booth1 0 1 A Cookie Booth is a temporary “shop” that troops set up to sell Girl Scout Cookies to the general public. Booths are the most direct and visible interaction the public has with Girl Scouts. Because of this there are strict guidelines and etiquette that must be followed. Booths are traditionally set up in front of local businesses, however, other possible locations include sporting events, church, or community events.

The stores in our community allow Girl Scouts to hold booths because they support our organization and believe in our mission. Please follow the Girl Scout Promise and Law when holding a booth and always be professional, courteous, and polite to both customers and store personnel.

A majority of booths are scheduled by the council and entered into Smart Cookies before booth selection begins. Our community partners determine both the times and dates when they will allow booths and when that information is released to our members.

• Ensure that all scheduled booths are entered in Smart Cookies. • Bring your Smart Cookies confirmation email to each booth you host. • If you are unable to attend a reserved booth, please cancel the booth in Smart Cookies, which will release it so that another troop can host it. • Look for special instructions for your booth location in Smart Cookies. Adhere to the locations policies and procedures. For more important Booth Etiquette please refer to and use the Booth Etiquette for Girl Scouts and Booth Etiquette for Volunteers. These were included in your training packet and can also be found on our website www.girlscoutsmoheartland.org.

Troops may not contact businesses that have made council-scheduled booth arrangements. This would include large box stores like WalMart, Lowes, and Sam’s. Check Smart Cookies for council-scheduled booth locations in your area. If you are ever in doubt, please contact your Product Program Specialist before reaching out to the location. It is critical that we maintain a positive relationship with our community partners for their continued support of Girl Scouts and our Cookie Program. Understandably, our partners do not want to deal with calls from individual troops if they have already agreed to a Girl Scout Cookie Booth schedule. Check out page 13 for a guide to troops self-scheduled booths!

January 18 Smart Cookies will open at 6 a.m. council-wide for troops to be able to choose booth locations. Each troop may initially reserve one premium booth and two non-premium booths. Make sure you are booking a location in your own geographical area.

January 25 Smart Cookies will close for initial booth choices to cycle and send confirmations to troops. January 31 Smart Cookies will open at 6 a.m. for the duration of the Cookie Program, and troops may sign up for additional booths. Please check back often for new locations and vacancies. There will be scheduling restrictions in place that allow Service Units to only book within their own Service Unit until January 31. Beginning January 31, the booth locations in Smart Cookies will be open for the duration of the program, however you are still encouraged to stay within your Service Unit.

Cookies for your

Cookie Booth

After you have received your initial cookie order, you will likely need more cookies to fill additional girl orders or for booth sales. You can order more cookies from any cupboard. Cookie Cupboards are specific locations that stock cookies for troops to order and pick-up. There are two ways you can place an order for additional cookies: a call-in order or a planned order.

Call-in Orders

If you would like to call-in your order to the cupboard, please be sure to include your troop and service unit number, your order by variety in cases or packages, a phone number with area code, and who will be picking up the cookies. Only the troop cookie coordinator should be calling in the orders. This ensures she/he is aware of the amount of cookies being purchased for the troop, so cookies can be allocated to girls properly.

Planned Orders A Planned Order allows a troop to schedule a pick-up on a designated day from any participating cookie cupboard, and it allows the cupboard manager to ensure the correct inventory to meet your needs. Planned orders must be placed by midnight on Sunday for pick-up the following week. To schedule a Planned Order in Smart Cookies: ЅЅ Under the ‘Orders’ tab, click on ‘Planned Order.’ ЅЅ Select a cupboard and click ‘Continue.’ ЅЅ Select the date you wish to pick up your order. ЅЅ Enter the number of packages for each variety that you want to pick up (1 case = 12 packages). ЅЅ Click ‘Save.’ ЅЅ The receipt confirmation will say ‘Not Approved.’ This only indicates your order has not yet been picked up from the cupboard. Once you have picked up your order, it will become a Cupboard to Troop Transfer and show ‘Approved’ on the receipt. Under the ‘Orders’ tab, you can select ‘Manage Orders’ to review your order. Your order can be edited until midnight on Sunday. When you pick up your order, the cookies will be transferred to your troop and it will be added to your troop inventory. All cupboard orders will immediately appear on your Troop Balance Summary and will All Planned Orders not picked-up by Friday at 6 p.m. will be cancelled and cookies placed back in cupboard inventory.

Troops are financially responsible for all cookies transferred from all cupboards throughout the program. There are no returns or exchanges.

what is Smart Cookies?

Smart Cookies is the online Cookie Program management tool. It makes ordering cookies and recognitions simple and easy! At your service unit training you received your log-in information once you signed your Troop Cookie Coordinator Agreement. You will be responsible for entering and updating your contact information as well as your girls’ orders and recognition choices.

Helpful Smart Cookies Reports Smart Cookies allows you to run various reports to help you track your cookie sales. Reports are located under the Reports tab and are generated in real time, which means that as soon as information is entered, you will be able to view it in a report. • Troop Balance: This report shows all the cookies that are received/ transferred as well as showing troop proceeds, per girl averages, and what amount is owed to the council. After all ACHs are complete, the report should show a $0 balance for the troop. • Girl Cookie Totals Summary: This report keeps track of all cookies received by each girl. All cookies sold during the initial order or direct sale should be credited to girls. • Girl Balance Summary: You will input in Smart Cookies the amount of money that has been paid by the parent for each girl. This report should show a $0 balance due at the end of the program. This report MUST be completed to ensure recognitions are correct. Smart Cookies will also automatically generate an ‘Early Recognition Order’ for girls who sold more than 170 packages in the initial sale period, and a Troop Recognition Order at the end of the sale. You can edit this initial order until the Troop Order Due Date which is listed in red at the top of the Initial Order screen. 7. When your order is complete, slide the ‘Ready for Review’ button to the left to let your Service Unit Cookie Coordinator know that your order is complete and ready for processing. Bling your booth! Customers will love your flair.

Go for the goal. Bring along a troop goal poster and pictures of activities in which your troop has participated. Don’t forget to include your service projects!

Keep it cool. Girls should speak clearly at an appropriate volume. Shouting and loud boisterous selling techniques push customers away, decrease sales and can harm our reputation and partnerships with the business.

Get creative! Have the girls make signs to encourage bundling of cookies (i.e. buy 4 packages for $20!). Bundle packages and attach recipes that use the cookies, or offer handmade cards, such as “Happy Birthday” or “Thank You.” Or brainstorm with your girls and create your own marketing strategy!

The Girl Scout Cookie Program at GSMH has additional channels intended to help your girls and your troop reach all their goals. Here are the details on four: Troop Bonus, Troop Bucks, the 5¢ Option, and Cookie Credit.

Troop Bonus The Girl Scout Cookie Program is designed to raise funds for Girl Scout troops and GSMH. The Cookie Program teaches girls about goal-setting and encourages them to set goals, work toward them, and celebrate their achievement at the end. In order for girls to have the absolute best experience in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, learning important business skills and developing self-esteem and confidence, it is important that they have the support of Girl Scout volunteers and families. The Troop Bonus Program is an opportunity for parents, volunteers, and girls to connect with each other and team up to encourage the troop to meet its goals. If the troop meets all of the requirements to the right, it will earn an additional $.10 per package sold in troop proceeds! Please complete the Troop Bonus Worksheet in the Forms and Resources Library on our website at girlscoutsmoheartland.org. This form must be turned in with final paperwork to the service unit cookie coordinator by April 3, 2019. For troops that earn the Troop Bonus, a credit of $.10 per package sold will be made to the troop banking account three months after the end of the program. Troop Bonus will be held until the troop has paid the council for their cookies, with the exception of any amount included on the Uncollected Funds Report.

A troop representative must attend the service unit cookie training. The troop must hold a parent/girl information meeting. The troop leader or troop cookie coordinator must contact each girl (by note or phone) midway through the program. All girls must be registered before they start selling, with a minimum of three girls to be a troop. All troop initial orders must be in Smart Cookies by January 25 at midnight. Girl Scout Cookie Credit is an earned recognition item, in the form of a gift card, that girls can use to support their own Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

Earned Recognition Levels Girls earn Girl Scout Cookie Credit when they sell 150 or more packages of Girl Scout Cookies. The exact amount of Girl Scout Cookie Credit earned depends on the total number of packages that each girl sells (p. 19).

Receiving Girl Scout Cookie Credit Girl Scout Cookie Credit gift cards are not distributed with other recognition items. They are mailed directly to all registered girls that have earned Girl Scout Cookie Credit. GSMH uses the address provided on the girl’s membership registration, so please make sure that this information is accurately provided before the Girl Scout Cookie Program begins. If girls have not received their Girl Scout Cookie Credit gift card by the beginning of June, please contact us at 877-312-4764 or info@girlscoutsmoheartland.org.

Concerns and Issues All issues or concerns with Girl Scout Cookie Credit cards must be reported to us (info@girlscoutsmoheartland.org) and resolved by the end of the Girl Scout membership year (Sept. 30) of the same year.

Troop Bucks

*To qualify for reimbursement via Cookie Credit, service unit events and day camps must meet council standards and criteria.

Troops that sell...

20 cases earn $20 in Troop Bucks. What are Troop Bucks? Troop Bucks are dollar amounts that can 40 cases earn $40 in Troop Bucks. 60 cases earn $60 in Troop Bucks. be used internally to pay troop membership dues, pay councilsponsored event registration fees, or make purchases in GSMH 80 cases earn $80 in Troop Bucks. retail stores for the troop. Troop Bucks are earned for cupboard 100 cases earn $100 in Troop Bucks. ...and so on. to troop transfers made during the direct sale period. This opportunity is different and unrelated to the Troop Bonus. This is an opportunity for GSMH troops participating in the 2019 Girl Scout Cookie Program and may not be offered in future cookie seasons. Cookies ordered on initial orders do not count toward Troop Bucks. Troop Bucks are non-transferable. Troop to troop transfers made during the direct sale period will not count toward this recognition program. Troop Bucks will be held until the troop has paid the council for their cookies, with the exception of any amount included on the Uncollected Funds Report.

$.05 Option Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador troops can earn an extra $.05 per package if they choose not to earn the recognition items. Girls do still receive Cookie Credit (for 150+ packages sold) and patches. Troops choosing this option need to complete the 5¢ Option form signed by each girl and parent. The form can be found at girlscoutsmoheartland.org. Please return it with your completed paperwork to your service unit cookie coordinator by April 3, 2019. Additional work is required for multi-level troops, but Juniors and above can still participate. Contact us for further instructions.

All service units use the ACH (Automatic Clearing House) process for the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Under the ACH process, all money should be deposited in the troop bank account. This makes it easier for the troop cookie coordinator to make frequent deposits in the bank. The council Finance department will utilize the ACH process to automatically withdraw the amount owed to the council from the troop bank account. Each troop leader needs to fill out an ACH Authorization form. The form should be returned to the service unit cookie coordinator at training. The service unit cookie coordinator will forward the form to the product program specialists no later than January 25, 2019.

Keep all receipts of deposits. Verify receipt versus deposit for discrepancies. Don’t leave the bank without a receipt.

Money Collection Be sure to remind parents that they are financially responsible for all cookies signed for and received by their daughter—cookies cannot be returned to GSMH. Make sure to issue a separate receipt for each payment made and for any cookies picked up by parents. You should retain the white copy for your records and give parents the yellow copy. These receipts will be very important when it is time to transfer extra cookies or in the event you need to complete the Uncollected Funds Report. • Girls collect payment from customers at the time the cookies are delivered, unless the customer is only ordering cookies for the Cookie Share Program. • Be cautious letting parents write one check for more than $150 for their daughter’s entire order. Accepting multiple payments by parents is encouraged. • Parents may only get additional cookies once the initial order cookie money has been turned in to the troop leader or troop cookie coordinator. During the direct sale portion of the Cookie Program, families should pay for any sold cookies before taking more cookies to sell. • In the event of a parental divorce or separation, the parent who signs for cookies is the parent who is responsible for payment. • If a new troop does not yet have an established bank account, check with the service unit to determine whether the service unit account can be used or if other alternatives are available. • Signed receipts are required for each money transaction or cookie transaction for each Girl Scout family. Additional receipt books are available. • Keep receipts for all deposits made into the troop account. • Enter all girl deposits into Smart Cookies. Under the ‘Finance’ tab, select ‘Girl Financial Transactions.’ • Troop leaders should always verify that the stamped receipt received from the bank matches the amount written on the deposit ticket (sample shown to right).

Returned Checks & Bank Service Charges Troops will be reimbursed for returned checks and returned check fees for cookie payments deposited into the troop account. Troops will also be reimbursed for bank service charges due to higher than normal deposit activity during the Cookie Program. Returned Checks: Troops must provide the original returned check notice and returned check from the bank within 60 days of the date of the check to be reimbursed. Always keep a copy for your troop records.

Bank Service Charges: Bank service charges for the months of February, March, and April will be reimbursed. Troops must provide a copy of the bank statement showing the amount of the bank service charge by May 31, 2019 to be reimbursed. Bank statement copies may be mailed to the address noted above, or they may be faxed to the Finance department at 417-862-4120, or they may be scanned and emailed to the Finance department at info@ girlscoutsmoheartland.org.

Past Due Payments

The troop leader must fill out an Uncollected Funds Report to send with the original versions of the following paperwork: • Signed permission slip, • Signed receipt(s) for cookies dispersed, • Signed receipt(s) of any payments received, and • Brief explanation concerning the amount outstanding or the situation and efforts made to collect.

and Uncollected Funds Reports If your troop has an issue with money collection, complete the Uncollected Funds Report and provide supporting documentation, detailing your attempts to collect the amount owed. Supporting documentation is listed to the right. Contact the Finance department at GSMH to determine if additional supporting documentation is required. Girl Scout families are responsible for payment of all cookies for which they have signed. Troops, however, are not responsible for paying for Girl Scout families that have not paid the troop, as long as an Uncollected Funds Report has been completed and returned to the Finance department at GSMH, along with supporting documentation, by April 3, 2019.

Uncollected Funds: Recognitions and Bonus Programs In the event that a girl or troop owes money after April 3, 2019, and no Uncollected Funds Report (with supporting documentation) has been submitted, council-specific recognitions and Cookie Credit at the 900 package level and above will not be distributed until such time that all outstanding money issues are resolved. In the event that a girl or troop owes money to the council on September 30 of that year, and no Uncollected Funds Report (with supporting documentation) has been submitted, council-specific recognitions and Cookie Credit at the 900 package level and above will not be distributed even upon resolution of outstanding money issues. The same procedures also apply to Troop Bonuses and Troop Bucks. No exceptions will be made to this procedure. Council-specific recognitions and Cookie Credit at the 900 package level and above will not be distributed to girls listed on the Uncollected Funds Report until such time that all outstanding money issues are resolved. Council-specific recognitions and Cookie Credit at the 900 package level and above will not be distributed to girls listed on the Uncollected Funds Report, even upon resolution of outstanding money issues, if the final resolution occurs on or after September 30 of that year. No exceptions will be made to this procedure.

Unresolved money issues can result in a volunteer being removed from their volunteer position at the troop and/or service unit level.

When in doubt, fill one out! If any money is still owed to your troop, complete and submit an Uncollected Funds Report by April 3.

Now that your troop is trained and your goals are set, you are ready to get started with the cookie season. Please remember the following guidelines will be enforced throughout the duration of the program.

Fire/Theft/Burglary/Robbery Cookies and other items are insured against fire and theft through the point of delivery to the Service Units. Cookies, other items, and related funds become the responsibility of the troops, parents, and girls at the point of delivery. Cookies and other items should be distributed to the girls quickly, delivered to the customers promptly, and the funds deposited frequently to help avoid potential issues. In the event that Cookies or funds are stolen, the family and/ or troop is still responsible for the money that is due for the cookies. In some cases, homeowner’s or car insurance will cover the loss. For this reason, the police MUST be called and a report taken within 48 hours of the incident.

Troop Splits Troops may not split during the Cookie Program. Troops who want to split should contact their troop support specialist, who will help work on temporary solutions until permanent solutions can be agreed upon after the Cookie Program.

Girl Transfers If a girl changes troops during the Cookie Program, the cookies must be paid for and/or the new troop must be willing to accept the transfer of unsold cookies into her troop. Funds or proceeds never follow a girl as troop proceeds belong to the troop and never become the property of an individual Girl Scout.

Complaints/Concerns In an attempt to be sure that all complaints during the Cookie Program are fully substantiated honestly and fairly, the following guidelines have been implemented. • Third-party complaints will not be accepted. The person with the complaint must be the person who saw it, heard it, read it, or was directly involved in it. • You must be willing to put your complaint in writing and sign your name. • You must be willing to back up your complaints with examples. Vague complaints will not be investigated.

Initial Orders When entering the Initial Order Cookies: • Do not estimate a girl’s order. Troops and families are responsible for unsold cookies. • Order additional cookies for booth sales on the troop’s initial order, if desired, but use the ‘extra’ cookies line in Smart Cookies. Do not enter extra booth cookies in Smart Cookies as a girl order(s). GSMH reserves the right to request a copy of a girl’s order card for verification if her initial order is deemed unusually high. GSMH reserves the right to limit or refuse any cookie orders during the initial order or direct sale.

g l ossa r y ABC: Our Cookie baker; one of two commercial bakers licensed by GSUSA to produce Girl Scout Cookies. Booth Kit: This is a kit that can be checked out from your local GSMH service center. The kit includes a table cloth and two costumes to be used at your cookie booth. Call-in Orders: One way of ordering cookies from the cookie cupboards during the direct sale. See page 14 for more information. Smart Cookies Mobile: An interactive online experience for goal setting, sales planning, and online marketing. Find out more on page 11. Cookie Activity Pin: All girls who participate in the Cookie Program are eligible to earn the annual Cookie Activity Pin. Cookie Booths: Troops set up booths at businesses to sell Girl Scout Cookies directly to customers. See pages 12-15.

Cookie Credit: Earned by each individual girl, these gift cards can be used on membership dues, program fees, summer camp, and at any of our retail shops. Learn more on page 21. Cookie Merchandise: Additional items to be purchased to help promote the Cookie Program and cookie booths. Item description and order form on page 27-28. Delivery Station: This is the location for the service unit delivery of all initial cookie orders for the troops. Early Recognition: The Early Recognition is earned by a girl who sells 170 or more packages during the initial order portion of the program. Five Skills: The Girl Scout Cookie Program provides important ingredients for leadership by helping girls develop five key skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting: Contains information and requirements for earning the Financial Literacy and Cookie Business badges/leaves.

Initial Order: The portion of the program when girls take cookie pre-orders (January 4-22, 2019). Main Recognition: Girls earn recognitions from all cookies sold through initial orders and direct sales/cookie booths. See page 19. Planned Order: Troops can obtain additional cookies from a cupboard. Directions and information on page 14. Service Unit Cookie Kickoff: A kickoff sponsored by the service unit during which girls will learn about the cookie products and the tools they can use to help them have a successful program. Smart Cookies: Online cookie program to keep track of girls’ cookie sales, recognitions, and financial transactions. Located at www.abcsmartcookies.com. Tips and tricks for using Smart Cookies can be found on page 16-17. Troop Bonus: Troops who meet the criteria will earn an additional $.10 per package. For more information, see page 20. Troop Bucks: Earned by troops, for troops, these gift cards can be used on membership dues, program fees, and at any of our retail shops. Learn more on page 21.
