Animal Adventures

Canoe 101

Daisy Dudes

Learn the basics of canoeing! While practicing boating safety, learn how to paddle as a pair.

Ride on horseback, learn horse safety, play a horse game, paint, and make a cowgirl bandanna. Cowgirl snacks will be provided.

The Gathering: Girl Scouts in Wonderland

Girl Scout Polar Express

This is the ultimate girls’ weekend for teen Girl Scouts! Settle into your unit on Friday and make new friends around the campfire. On Saturday, choose from a variety of fun workshop options and enjoy a themed dinner! Includes four meals, lodging, and a patch.

Embark on a magical adventure to the GSMH North Pole, listen to the Polar Express story, take part in special holiday activities, and visit with the big guy in red himself! Make the world a better place by bringing a book to donate to a local children’s organization.

Horse Rider

My Fella and Me Field Day

Spend the day exploring the world of horses! Learn more about horse safety, grooming, and saddling your own horse. Then, practice riding and participate in a “Showdeo!” Please bring a sack lunch. Patch included.

Bring your favorite guy to this fun-filled field day at Latonka Program Center. Work as a team to build a fire, roast marshmallows, tie knots, and learn new outdoor skills. Includes patch.

Magic of Chemistry: Mystery at the Museum A fundraiser is taking place at the Chemistry Museum for a new exhibit showcasing exotic gems and historic relics from around the world. All is going well until the entire museum is cloaked in darkness and the prized Radium Amulet goes missing! It is up to you to test the evidence and solve the mystery! Night at the Museum: Discovery Center Lock-in

Mall Madness Lock-in

Bring your sense of adventure and your sleeping bag for an afterhours exploration of the Discovery Center! You will have access to all of the museum’s hands-on activities and special areas, and get to watch a movie and sleep in the museum! Includes patch.

Spend the night in the Battlefield Mall! Design and model your own “recycle runway” fashion creations, sleep in front of stores, and shop in the Girl Scout Shop. Late-night snack and a patch are included. ADULT: $14

Pets Are Worth Supporting April 1-9, 2016

We provide door hangers to you! With your fellow Girl Scouts and proper supervision, distribute the door hangers to friends, neighbors, and community members to let them know about your awesome service project!

Night Time Orienteering Would you be able to find your way across the wilderness armed with only a land map and compass? Orienteering is an activity that uses a map, compass, and navigational skills to find your way. Join us to learn all about it and put your new skills to the test during this night time adventure! Program Aide Training If you want to be a great role model and provide service by working with younger Girl Scouts, you can earn the Cadette Program Aide Award! This training will teach you skills and strategies to work with younger girls, and give you ideas for teaching crafts, songs, and games. If you wish to receive training to teach outdoor skills to younger girls, you can request options for that as well. Please bring a sack lunch. Before attending Program Aide training, you must have earned the Leadership in Action award. Stars of Science Lock-In

Pumpkins are plentiful and so are friendships! Enjoy fall-themed activities and treats, decorate your own pumpkin, and make many new Girl Scout friends. Patch included.

Bring your curiosity for this exciting overnight adventure! Create crafts, play games, and conduct hands-on scientific experiments. Work with your friends to solve a mystery and end the night with a movie. Includes snack and patch.

Sports Lock-in at MSU Come cheer the MSU Lady Bears Volleyball team on to victory, and then spend the night experiencing a wide variety of sports. Following the game, you will meet the Lady Bears and receive an autographed poster! Then play volleyball, basketball, racquetball, and other games, and end the night with a movie! Includes patch. Spend the day learning basic survival skills, playing games, and working as part of a team. Taking inspiration from the popular Survivor show, you’ll have to work together to “outplay, outwit, and outlast” your opponents during this action-packed day of learning and fun! TEAM Challenge

Titanic Museum Lock-in

Discover the excitement of our low and high challenge courses as you work together to conquer the islands, TP shuffle, and get through the spiderweb. Test your limits and traverse elements such as the Postman’s Walk, Pirate’s Crossing, or the Zip Line (each course has different elements). Please bring a sack lunch.

History comes alive at the Titanic Museum in Branson! Arrive after hours and explore the museum, enjoy hands on activities, hear stories from the crew members, and watch a movie before sleeping in the museum. This exciting overnight adventure is only available to Girl Scouts! Includes snack and patch.
