A Girl Scout tribute to "Bobby" Lerch.
Bobby Lerch was the first president of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital. Bobby joined Girl Scouts in 1924 when she was just 14 years old. She was immediately touched by the "amazing sisterhood" that embraced her. She was an extraordinary woman who we honored as the "Juliette Low" of our Council for her tireless dedication and lifelong commitment to providing girls access without boundaries to all that Girl Scouting has to offer.
