Your Year of Fulfillment

It’s because of amazing volunteers like you that girls feel such joy, excitement, and guidance from their troop. Give your Girl Scouts another year of growth, laughter, and the confidence they need to be their most authentic selves!

Renew yourself and your troop during Early Bird to:

• Prepare your troop for the upcoming membership year

• Get you and your troop members access to exclusive Early Bird gear, events, and prize drawings

• Have one less thing on your to-do list this fall

Ways to Early Bird Your Troop

As a troop leader, you have access to renew all of the girl and adult members in your troop AND the ability to sign them up for our Early Bird exclusive events. Make Early Bird a tradition in your troop and have the girls vote on if they’d like to have the troop pay for all or a portion of next year’s membership fees.

A few ideas on how that could work:

• Parent/caregivers pay $15 and the troop pays $10.

• If a parent/caregiver renews as a volunteer, the troop will pay for the girl’s membership.

• Create a troop Early Bird incentive, like the troop will get an Early Bird tshirt for each girl that renews.

If families need financial assistance, make sure they know it’s as simple as checking the box on the payment screen.

Troop Leader Incentives

To qualify for any of the troop leader incentives, by May 10, 2023, your troop needs to have:

• Renewed at least 2 adults and 3 girls

• Submitted a 2023-2024 Troop Update at www.gsnetx.org/troopupdate

• Set up or requested a Rallyhood for your troop (Rallyhood info can be found at gsnetx.org/rallyhood.)

If you have...

Events!

Your Year of Adventure

Early Bird is the time to celebrate the big moments and look ahead to even more extraordinary ones with your crew by renewing for another year of Girl Scouts now – and checking our Early Bird exclusive events. More details about our Early Bird events can be found at gsnetx.org/renew.

Camp S’more

Camp S’more is a 1/2 day camp event designed for new and experienced campers alike with four different time slots to sign up for across one weekend. Camp S’more 2023 will be Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21, at Camp Bette Perot. Each girl and adult will get s’mores and the 2023 event patch, plus girls will be able to customize their schedule with certain camp activities depending on their grade. Registration is $12 per girl and $6 per adult. This year’s Early Bird theme is Backyard Adventures – think butterflies, bugs, ladybugs, bees and more. Any girl who renews and registers for Camp S’more by April 13 will be entered into a drawing for a VIP experience.

Mall Madness

Mall Madness is a giant slumber party - with WAY more party than slumber- where stores, food locations, and the movie theater will be open JUST for Girl Scouts, including a GSNETX Mobile Shop. Mall Madness 2023 will be Saturday, June 24 – Sunday, June 25 at the Golden Triangle Mall in Denton. Each girl and adult who attends Mall Madness will receive a goody bag and 2023 event patch. Registration is $7 per person. We’ll have a scavenger hunt, S.W.A.P.S. meets, dance parties, and more. This year’s Early Bird theme is Backyard Adventures – think butterflies, bugs, ladybugs, bees and more. Any girl who renews and registers for Mall Madness by April 14 will be entered into a drawing for a VIP experience where you’ll get to skip the line at check in AND have a special place in the mall reserved just for you.

6
Please Note: Mall Madness is included in the Cookie Program reward Membership Bundle. If your Girl Scout has earned this bundle, you simply need to fill out the information as part of the cookie reward survey and we’ll take care of registration for you on the back end. Troop Leaders, if you have girls who qualify for this reward, you do not need to sign them up, even if it looks like they are not in the event in the system.
