STEM & ROBOTICS TEAMS! FIRST Lego League Junior Robotics Teams: Mission Moon K – 4th Grade Location: Season runs August – March. Teams decide individually when and where to meet. Award earned: Designing Robots, Programming Robots and Showcasing Robots. Girls will work on teams of 4 – 6 with two coaches. Over 12 meetings, teams will do research projects and learn how robots are used in everyday engineering. Teams will design and build their Lego robotic model and participate in an Expo.

FIRST Lego League Robotics Teams: Into Orbit 4th – 8th Grade Location: Season runs August – December. Teams decide individually when and where to meet. Award earned: Designing Robots, Programming Robots and Showcasing Robots. Girls will work on teams of 10 with two coaches. Over 16 meetings, teams will do research projects and learn how robots are used to solve problems. Teams will design and build their Lego robotic model and compete against other teams in a tournament. VEX IQ Challenge Next Level 4th – 8th Grade Location: Season runs August – December. Teams decide individually when and where to meet. Award earned: Designing Robots, Programming Robots and Showcasing Robots. Girls will work on teams with two coaches. Over 16 meetings, teams will research, build and practice to compete against other teams in three different challenges.
