Ivey was “Made in Greensboro’’ in July of 2017 featured as a “Community Builder”, and has done just that as she has served on the following boards: Welfare Reform Liaison Project 2011-2015, Guilford Green Foundation 2011-2016, Guilford College Employer Advisory Board 2014-2016, and currently serves as Chair on the LGBTQ Advisory Board for Guilford County Schools.
Ivey consults for the Office of Inclusion and Diversity at Atrium Health Wake Forest, and is amazing at what she does to educate and energize our teammates to be inclusive, welcoming and authentic with all particularly those within our LGBTQ+ community. She’s assisted with: - We Ask WE Care mandatory training offered via Healthstream in 2019 - conducted several in person panel discussions on topics such as -- Faith and the LGBTQ community; Intersectionality; parents and LGBTQ – coming out and being accepted.

Under Will’s leadership, Truist Leadership Institute has dramatically increased the size and scope of its catalog of programs and services, launched philanthropic programs for educators and students that have reached thousands, launched a research and measurement function within the institute and oversaw that design and construction of the LI’s worldclass learning facility, the Kelly S. King Center.
