Hartford Marriott Downtown Thursday, March 3, 2022 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Welcome, all friends of Girl Scouting! Thank you for joining us in celebrating our 25th Annual Breakfast Badge Award! We could not be more thankful that you’ve joined this morning as Girl Scouts of Connecticut honors three extraordinary women who are “Championing Girl Ambition:” Elicia Spearman, Edna Karanian, and Virginia Giuffré. Your attendance here today is not just about acknowledging the successes of three outstanding women; your presence also means that you support girls locally in Hartford and across the state. They’re thankful that you’re here, and we hope you have the opportunity to meet a few today. Their stories and experiences are inspiring and help shape our continued commitment to the Girl Scout Mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Each of our honorees represents exactly what it means to be a go-getter, innovator, risk-taker, and leader. They embody all the characteristics we at Girl Scouts encourage our girls to build so they – like our honorees – can make a lasting impact. We hope that you will enjoy hearing our honorees’ stories of success as we present them with their own unique badge! Thank you once again for being here this morning. We hope you will find this morning’s program to be inspirational and you will learn a little more about the power of Girl Scouting. And, please join us in congratulating our 2021 Breakfast Badge honorees: Elicia Spearman, Edna Karanian, and Virginia Giuffré. Warmly, Diana Mahoney Nicole Sandford Erica Czajkowski CEO Chair, Board of Directors Event Chair/Board Member
