Entrepreneur
The Girl Scout Fall Product Program and Girl Scout Cookie Program are two ways for you to earn while you learn and run your own business. The skills you develop – goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics – will set you up for success beyond anything you can imagine.
Outdoor Education
Experiencing the outdoors is a great way to develop an appreciation for nature, build skills, and see Earth as our home. Whether you want to hike in the woods, camp under the stars, or learn how to ride horses, our programs give you the chance to enjoy the outdoors in new and exciting ways!
STEM
Get hands-on experiences in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math with a variety of activities that encourage you to explore your interests in STEM careers.
ADULTS REQUIRED
This symbol indicates that adult supervision is required. Adults must register for these programs.

This symbol indicates that adult supervision is required at an overnight event. Adults must register for these programs, have a current membership, and successfully complete a background check. Did you miss the registration deadline? Programs fill up quickly, but if we are able to accommodate a late registration to a program, a late fee of $3 per person will be added. Contact the program registrar at customercare@gsoh.org with how many spaces you want for girls and/or adults, including the name and date of the program, grade of the Girl Scouts, and your contact information. Customer Care will get back with you shortly!

GSOH Program Cancellation Policy To cancel your program registration and receive a 100 percent refund: • A written request must be received by Council Headquarters a minimum of six weeks before the start date of the program or event. • Written requests may be sent electronically or by mail to: customercare@gsoh.org or Council Headquarters 1700 Watermark Dr. Columbus, OH 43215 • Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances: less than six (6) weeks’ written notice received, no-show, verbal request, or request received after the program or event. • Resident camp and day camp have campspecific cancellation and refund policies. Franklin Park Conservatory Spring Experience Experience the magic of spring as flowers start to awaken under the stars at Franklin Park Conservatory. Discover the connection between flower science and pollinators and visit the beautiful butterflies flying throughout the Pacific Island plant collection. Wander out to the Grand Mallway to visit spring flowers in bloom and roam the Children’s Garden at dusk to hear the sounds of the night. The evening will be filled with family friendly events including dance and movement and the wonders of creating your own garden. You will even get your own seed packet to start plants at home. Protective face coverings and social distancing are required to ensure everyone has a fun and safe evening. Every Girl Scout will leave with a special Franklin Park Conservatory badge. The conservatory will be open only to Girl Scouts and their families.

Galentine’s Day Pottery Painting Bring all the galentine’s in your troop to make a sweet piece for Valentine’s Day. Girl Scouts Grow Girl Scouts receive seed starting supplies via mail and a program packet to start their own vegetable garden. Then pay it forward by donating produce to a local food pantry or food bank. All participants receive an award patch for their participation! Girls can participate solo or with their troop. Seed packets will be mailed the week of March 29, 2021. This program is sponsored by Scotts Miracle-Gro Company.

Glide N’ Slide Lace up your skates and join instructors on the ice at the OhioHealth Chiller Easton. Girl members will learn the basics of ice skating and safety skills in a 30-minute skating lesson followed by a 30-minute free skate! New this year: Due to COVID-19, there will be a limited number of people allowed on the ice at a time. That means family and friends will not be invited to join in the free skate following the lesson. All participants will receive a patch.

Maple Hike Join us on a winter hike to learn about our maple syrup program at Camp Ken-Jockety. Not only will you learn about our maple syrup production process during the hike, you’ll also learn how to identify and tap your own sugar maple tree! After the hike, warm up with some hot chocolate. Adult supervision is required and any adult planning to attend must register in advance and pay the program fee.

Calling all chefs, foodies and sisters of the world! Join us on Zoom as we travel around the globe while learning some great cooking skills. Create your own snacks including Swedish snowballs and Spanish hot chocolate! Learn the importance of the English afternoon tea and the history behind the first trail mix. You will learn essential skills such as cutting, spreading, measuring, mixing and shaping dough. Shopping and equipment lists will be send out via email to prepare for this program. The Brownie Snacks badge will be shipped to you after completion of this program!
Join our friends at the Ohio State University Society of Women Engineers for an interactive virtual event. You’ll pick up a kit of supplies from one of our service centers before the program, and then join a virtual meetup where OSU SWE will guide you through activities to teach you about the world of engineering.

Junior Digital Photographer Badge Workshop It seems like almost every gadget can take a digital photograph. From phones to laptops to, of course, digital cameras, but do you know how to get the most out of your digital device and what it takes to capture a winning photo? You will if you earn this badge! This course is designed to be hands-on while including video instruction that is fun and engaging. Students will watch a short video introducing a new photography technique or skill, watch a demonstration, and then complete a photo challenge using the new skill learned. Life on the Underground Railroad Experience life on the Underground Railroad as you tour the Kelton House, learn about the leadership roles of African Americans in the community and discover the courage of an actual runaway slave who lived in the house during the mid-19 century.

Rockin’ Rockets Join us at Camp Ken-Jockety for an afternoon of launching model rockets! You’ll learn about the science of model rockets, how to prepare a rocket for launch and how to recover the rocket after launch. Come experience the thrill of hatchet throwing at Camp Ken-Jockety! Go through a quick safety orientation and then your group will go through several fun hatchet throwing head to head competitions.
Over the course of five online sessions each Thursday evening, you’ll dive into the MEdia Journey and the Comic Artist badge. We’ll explore how media stories are shaped as well as how they can shape you and how you can reshape your community with the power of media! It’s an intensive program with work before and after for each session, but this approach will give you skills and strategies for networking, time management and new technologies — all important skills you’ll need when you earn the Silver Award! At the end of the program, you will be well on your way to implementing your Take Action Project!
After an introduction to owls and their adaptations, watch a Dawes Arboretum educator lead you through the process of needle felting a fuzzy owl! Materials included. Pick up your kit from The Arboretum on Saturday, Jan. 23 between noon and 5 p.m. or select the delivery option. Make the owl at home while following along with a guided video on your own time and pace.
