WHAT IS NRHH?

NRHH is the organization that recognize those individuals who have demonstrated positive leadership and outstanding service to residence hall life at Georgia Southern University and to serve as a stimulus for developing residence hall involvement. NRHH will serve as the primary outlet for service and recognition initiatives for University Housing. Through these stated purposes, the NRHH strives to improve the quality of residence hall life on the Georgia Southern University campus.

WHAT ARE O.T.M.s?

Of the Month’s (OTM’s) are awards you can write to recognize the amazing things going on at your campus. By writing an OTM about someone or a program on campus, you can show others that their efforts did not go unnoticed. This recognition could be a push in the right direction, and may even give the nominee the confidence they need to continue to succeed. This recognition spreads and actually benefits the campus as well. OTMs are submitted and a committee votes on the best OTM for each category every month. Winning submissions are detailed on how the nominee went above and beyond in that specific month and will move on to the regional level. Regional levels even have the chance to win at a NATIONAL level. Last year, Georgia Southern submitted over 250 OTMs, had 5 Regional, and 2 National winners. Want to earn an ADDITIONAL 10 points for your hall? Write a quality OTM (defined as at least 300 words) for a person or program on campus by Thursday at midnight! Visit https://otms.nrhh.org/ to write yours! Looking for tips on writing winning OTMs?
