Period Equity Movement The Period Equity Movement is a multi-campus initiative led by faculty, students, and staff to promote period equity. We aim to ensure that individuals who menstruate have the products they need to live their lives to the fullest. PEM currently has 3 projects: 1. The Green Period Pantry 2. The Disposable Period Pantry 3. Menstrual Hygiene Product Dispensers in Restrooms 1. Green Period Pantry The Green Period Pantry provides students with free sustainable and reusable period products on campus. Through the Green Period Pantry initiative, we aim to reduce period poverty and the environmental impact of period products and enable students to overcome barriers associated with having a period. There are three free period products available to students at the Green Period Pantry: the OrganiCup menstrual cups, reusable cloth pads from Period Aisle, and reusable period underwear . Where are the Green Period Pantry sites located on campus? Green Period Pantry Location Sites

2. The Disposable Period Pantry The Disposable Period Pantry provides students with free disposable period products on campus. Through the Disposable Period Pantry initiative, we aim to reduce period poverty and enable students to overcome barriers associated with having a period. We also recognize that every student may not want a menstrual cup or reusable cloth pad, so in efforts to be inclusive to all, students do have access to disposable products via the Disposable Period Pantry or the Menstrual Hygiene Product Dispensers in restrooms all over campus. There is only ONE disposable period pantry on each campus. On the Statesboro campus, the disposable period pantry is located in the Zach Henderson Library. 3. Menstrual Hygiene Product Dispensers in Restrooms If you have seen the clear dispensers filled with menstrual products in restrooms around campus, that is a project under the Period Equity Movement (PEM) on campus! This initiative aims to give students access to period products on the go. Imagine leaving your period products in your residence hall or apartment and having no way to get supplies before your next class. No worries, there are disposable period products in restrooms all over campus! Every building has at least one restroom with a dispenser for disposable tampons and pads.
