THE ULTIMATE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE At Resident Camp and Troop Adventure Camp, most meals are served family-style in a dining hall. You’ll also get to plan for and prepare a meal over the campfire. Meals are kid-friendly and healthy. We can accommodate most common food allergies and dietary restrictions. Most campers stay in tents, so unless the program description online says otherwise, plan on being in a tent. Visit CAMP.GSWO.ORG for more information. *Day campers bring their own packed lunches each day.

2021 SAFETY PROTOCOLS At Girl Scouts, the health and safety of our members are our number one priority. Girls today are dealing with so much, and summer camp provides them with critical experiences— like camaraderie and friendships—that make them feel less alone. Girl Scouts truly treasure camp! In order to provide the safest camp experience possible, we will be making adaptations around capacity, registration, lodging, meals, activity schedules, and more. We will communicate more specific guidelines for parents and caregivers as we get closer to camp. We will evaluate conditions at the beginning of April and May, and we reserve the right to make any changes needed for the safety of girls, volunteers, and staff. Stay tuned to GSWO.ORG/SAFETY, your email, and CampDocs for more details as summer approaches!
CAMP STAFF Our talented and experienced camp staff are carefully screened and intensely trained to keep you safe and to create a positive, harmonious, and supportive camp environment. Many camp staff are aspiring teachers, outdoor educators, and former campers. They come from all over Ohio and the United States to work with you.
BRING A BUDDY! Have a special friend you want to share the camp experience with? You can BOTH request each other when you register for the same camp program. Requests are limited to ONE buddy. If you have more than one friend coming to camp with you, don’t worry. You can still hang out with all your friends, old and new, during most of the daytime activities, like swimming, meals, and game time.
EVERY GIRL DESERVES A CHANCE TO CAMP! Camperships are available to ensure girls needing financial assistance can participate. You can request financial assistance when you register online.
