Our comprehensive coursework immerses students in various aspects of fire protection. Acquire technical and administrative skills, including hydraulics, hazardous materials, fire investigation, fire safety education, fire supervision and management, law, and codes.
Courses are 8-weeks in length. This gives students more flexibilty in course scheduling.

Join the Fire Protection Technology Program!
The Fire Protection Technology curriculum is designed to provide individuals with the technical and professional knowledge necessary to make decisions regarding fire protection for both public and private sectors. It also provides a sound foundation for continuous higher learning in fire protection, administration, and management.
Qualify for employment or advancement in municipal fire departments, governmental agencies, industrial firms, insurance rating organizations, and educational organizations. Employed persons will have opportunities for skilled and supervisory positions within their current organizations.
Advanced standing
Students that enroll in the program are eligible to receive credit for curriculum courses based on qualified professional certifications. This rewards students for prior experience in the profession.
Scholarship opportunities are available to Fire Protection Technology students.
