GTCC IS AFFORDABLE You shouldn’t hesitate to apply for admission to GTCC because of cost. Financial aid is available to those who qualify, and our Financial Aid Office will be happy to help you identify grants, work-study programs, loans and any scholarships for which you may be eligible. Many of our programs also provide “co-op” opportunities where you can gain real-world work experience in your field of study. while simultaneously receiving course credit and pay. Tuition Rates & Related Fees Visit our website www.gtcc.edu for the most current information on tuition, fees, refunds and more. All students must pay a campus access, parking and security fee (CAPS Fee) each semester. Students enrolled in a course with shop/lab or clinic hours will have to pay a shop/lab/clinic fee. This fee varies by academic program. Additionally, some programs require students to procure Malpractice Insurance. There are also fees associated with applying for a certificate, applying for graduation and obtaining official copies of your transcripts. Please see an advisor for specific questions.

ADULT EDUCATION If you did not ďŹ nish high school, GTCC offers classes in Adult Basic Education (ABE) that can get you on your way to a high school diploma and into one of our degree programs. In addition, the ABE program serves students with learning disabilities as well as English language learners. The Career & College Promise program is committed to helping every qualified high school student gain access to an affordable college education to prepare for a career or college transfer opportunity after high school. College transfer students can use credits earned at GTCC and apply them towards their bachelor’s degree at any of the 16 institutions in the UNC System.
