There are 14 small chapels (15th – 17th century) with frescoes, a lavish carved altarpiece in the main church and numerous valuable icons. After some free time our coach shall take us to the ski resort of Dobrinishte, where one may take the open ski-lift (lift extra) up to 2240 metres above sea level and enjoy the incredible scenery including the picturesque Bezbog Lake. Afterwards join the tour leader for a visit to the nearby village of Bansko a popular winter sports destination thanks to the excellent ski facilities and breathtaking nature. We return to our hotel in time for dinner (extra). Monday: After breakfast we offer you an optional day excursion as we visit the town of Melnik located on the south-western foot of Pirin Mountain. Melnik might be the smallest town in Bulgaria but it is so attractive that the number of the visitors per day often exceeds the number of the 230 native people. Melnik is famous for the many old houses with remarkable architecture, legendary history incredible nature, fantastic rock formations, known as the ‘Melnik pyramids’ and of course for the wines produced here. Even Sir Winston Churchill was said to have loved the famous Melnik wine! The town has been declared a cultural and historical reserve and a museum town but it retains its status as a city only due to its historical importance. The most famous building is the “Kordopulova” house, which has the largest wine cellar found in the town. After enough free time we then drive on to Rozhen Monastery, one of the largest and oldest monasteries in Bulgaria. The date of its foundation is not known exactly, but according to archives it had already existed in the 13th century. perhaps Bulgaria’s sunniest town. In the city centre one finds outdoor cafes, restaurants, hotels, clothes and art shops including goldsmiths. Enjoy a relaxing lunch (extra) followed by a walk along the pretty seafront and admire the broad main square and the famous White Tower before our coach transfers us back across the border to our hotel in time for dinner and overnight. Wednesday: After breakfast we suggest you join our optional day excursion as we visit the traditional rural Bulgaria. We shall first visit the village of Kovatsevitsa located in the higher parts of the Rhodopi Mountain. The origin of Kovatsevitsa is connected to the waves of forced conversion of Bulgarians to Islam after the country fell under Turkish rule. In order to escape the unenviable choice of death or conversion during the 17th century, Bulgarian farmers from the foothills of the mountain fled upwards and settled in hard-to-reach locations of the mountain. We shall then drive on to the nearby village of Leshten, one of the most attractive and well developed destinations for rural tourism in Bulgaria. Enjoy some free time where you may visit some renovated houses, built in the traditional style of the Bulgarian Renaissance period, or relax in one of the various restaurants and pubs where one can taste traditional Bulgarian cuisine (extra). After enough free time, we then drive on to the spa village of Ognyanovo, which have been used since Roman times. This is testified by remains of Roman spa facilities, later transformed into the village’s public bath. The mineral water temperature here is 43 degrees and has low mineralization and no smell. It is used for the treatment of a broad spectre of neurological, bone, muscular, intestinal and other illnesses. You may wish to enjoy some free time and maybe visit one of the various indoor and outdoor pools (entr. extra). This historical city was once the capital of the Roman, Byzantine, and the Ottoman Empires. As our rooms shall be available in the afternoon, we offer you the opportunity to join the tour leader on an optional Istanbul half day excursion visiting the one thousand five hundred year old former Cathedral of Saint Sophia (entr. extra). There can be few places with such an overwhelming sense of history. The Green Atlantic Isle Monday, 18 July – Join our tour leader at the Malta Intl. Airport at 5.15 a.m. and check-in our Airmalta flight to London Heathrow which departs at 7.15 a.m. After arrival (at 9.45 a.m.) and some time in transfer, we depart on our onward British Midland flight at 5.30 p.m. Arrival in Dublin should be at 6.50 p.m. Our visit to the beautiful scenic ‘Emerald Isle,’ with its landscapes, misty mountains, lovely lakes and friendly people begins as we drive to County Meath, a short distance from Dublin airport. Meath is Ireland’s Heritage Capital and was once the territory of the High Kings of Ireland. Arrive in our hotel,(Marriott Ashbourne or similar), room allocations and some time at leisure. Dinner (optional) and overnight in Ashbourne, Meath. Tuesday, 19 July – After breakfast and room check-out, we shall head for Clonmacnoise, situated at the crossroads of Ireland in County Offaly, bordering three provinces: Connaught, Munster and Leinster. We shall visit the ancient monastery, located on the east side of the River Shannon, in what was then the Kingdom of Meath, but as it occupied such a central location, it was the burial-place of many of the kings of Connaught as well as those of Tara. The ancient monastic site of Clonmacnoise dates back almost 1,500 years and is one of Ireland’s most famous early Christian sites. The site includes the ruins of a Cathedral, 3 churches, 2 round towers and high crosses. We shall arrive in Galway in the late afternoon. View Eyre Square, which was dedicated to the late President John F. Kennedy and walk along the pedestrian old town centre. See the 14th century old-stone town house called Lynch’s Castle, considered the finest town castle in Ireland; the Protestant Collegiate Church of St Nicholas of Myra dating back from 1320, Galway’s most important monument, and Ireland’s largest medieval parish church still in use. Near the river, east of Wolfe Tone Bridge, view the ancient Spanish Arch. Proceed to our hotel (oranmore lodge Hotel or similar). Dinner (suppl.) and overnight in Galway. Wednesday, 20 July – After breakfast, we depart for a full day journey with a distinct number of dramatic sights. Travel through the “Burren” with its unusual lunar-like surface. Experience the attraction of the Cliffs of Moher, rising high over the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the magnificent views of sheer cliffs before continuing along the Atlantic Ocean coast of the Shannon region towards Tralee. Beautifully located along the 3000ft high Slieve Mish Mountains and surrounded by the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, Tralee is the vibrant centre of County Kerry at Ireland’s scenic south west coast. The climate of Kerry is very mild all year round thanks to the gulfstream (a warm ocean current flowing nearby), makes Tralee and its spectacular environment a favourite spot with visitors. It is a good starting point for touring the famous “Ring of Kerry”. Check-in our hotel (Abbeygate Hotel or similar), for dinner (suppl.). Overnight in Tralee.

Thursday, 21 July – Today’s excursion is to the scenic highlight of the Ring of Kerry. See unspoilt landscapes, and spectacular mountains; enjoy magical seascapes, charming villages, majestic cliffs, Ireland’s highest mountain range and lush lake-lands. Our driver will stop the coach along the way at scenic overlooks to allow time to take photos. This is entertaining and educational and gives insight into the local culture and lifestyle. We head on to Blarney and check-in our hotel (Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel or similar), in time for dinner (suppl). Friday, 22 July – After breakfast and departure from our hotel, we first visit Blarney as we have a chance to see the beautiful old castle (built 1210-1446), enjoy the beautiful grounds and walk through the lovely gardens. You will surely never be short of words if you manage to climb the ramparts to kiss the famous magic “Blarney Stone”!! We then continue through some of Ireland’s most beautiful countryside before we stop in the picturesque city of Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city, founded in 914AD by the Vikings and famous for its crystal. After some free time we shall continue our drive towards Dublin for room check-in (Camden Court Hotel or similar). As Dublin is relatively small and compact, it can easily be covered on foot. After dinner (suppl.) join your Tour Leader for an orientation walk near our hotel. Saturday, 23 July – After breakfast we offer you an optional Dublin Highlights tour. Begin by a panoramic drive through Dublin’s elegant Georgian squares to O’Connell Street. View elegant Georgian Houses and visit Trinity College. We shall then visit the famous Guinness Storehouse (entr. extra). After dinner (suppl.), we suggest you join the tour leader for the famous Riverdance musical show (extra). Sunday, 24 July – Breakfast followed by our optional excursion south of Dublin to the Wiklow Mountains Valley and Lakes. The area is renowned for its beauty and tranquillity and offers picture postcard views around every corner. We then proceed to Loch Katrine, situated in the heart of the Trossachs. This is an area of great scenic beauty and is amongst the most fascinating and unspoilt scenery in all of Scotland. of 9000 spectators makes this a memorable event never to be forgotten. Return to Glasgow in the late evening. Thursday, 18 August: After breakfast we offer you another optional day excursion, this time visiting Edinburgh. Scotland’s capital-city, is set on a series of volcanic hills and is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The city is famed for the elegance of its classical architecture, dramatic skylines, panoramic views, parks and open spaces. The impressive silhouette of the famous castle dominates the city. Our city tour includes the fascinating Royal Mile, the bustling street that is the heart of Edinburgh’s mediaeval old town, the Palace of Holyrood House and St. Giles Cathedral with its decorated spire. Some free time for shopping on Princess Street is given before we return to our hotel. After dinner (optional), the rest of the evening is left free for leisure. Friday, 19 August: Today, after our breakfast we shall depart from Glasgow and begin our drive south, towards Lake Windermere in the Lake District. Before crossing the border into England we shall stop in Gretna Green, just north of the Scottish border. This town is renowned as many runaway marriages were performed there after 1753, when a law was passed in England banning marriages without parental consent for youngsters still not yet 21 years of age. This led to many elopers fleeing England and making for the first Scottish village they came to — Gretna Green. The Old blacksmith’s shop, built around 1712, and Gretna Hall Blacksmiths Shop became, in popular folklore at least, the focal point for the marriage trade. Today, Gretna Green remains one of the most popular wedding venues in the world, and thousands of couples still come from all over the world to be married ‘over the anvil’ at Gretna Green. We continue heading south arriving in Windermere, where (weather permitting) you may enjoy a cruise on the lake (cruise-extra). Lake Windermere is the largest natural lake in England, at over 16kms long and surrounded by foothills of the Lake District. On the boat-ride you may admire some of the 14 islets dotted across the water, including the famous Belle Isle. Some free time is given in the village of Windermere before we proceed to Mold in North Wales. We shall check-in at the Beaufort Park Hotel which is the ideal base to explore all that North Wales has to offer. After dinner (extra) you may wish to go for a stroll and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Saturday, 20 August: After our English breakfast, we offer you an optional day excursion visiting the beautiful country of Wales with her secluded valleys, mountains and waterfalls. Our first stop will be in Bets-y-Coed, a small but marvellous village which is North Wales’ most popular inland resort. We then continue to Snowdonia National Park with its magnificent scenery.

Now it is used to house the Crown Jewels, which are kept in the Jewel House. Wednesday, 24 August: After breakfast and room check-out join our optional half day excursion visiting the splendid sea-side resort of Brighton located on the south coast of England. Its famous piers and wide promenade, elegant Georgian, Regency and Victorian architecture, the labyrinthine lanes of the old fishing town contrasting with lavishly planted open spaces and parkways, makes Brighton one of the most enchanting, exciting and extraordinary seaside city in Britain. We shall stop to see the Royal Pavilion, which is a former Royal palace built as the home for the Prince Regent during the early 1800s and is notable for its Indian architecture and Oriental interior design. It was here that rulers sent those they regarded as political troublemakers, social outcasts and the unwanted of society.

During the apartheid years, Robben Island became internationally known for its institutional brutality. This historic landmark was recently established as a museum. Experience the conditions of incarceration - step inside Nelson Mandela’s maximumsecurity prison cell, and see the lime quarries dug by inmates. We shall then check in our hotel (Chapman Hotel or similar) followed by check in. This evening enjoy a relaxing walk along the beautiful beach before overnight.

Saturday, 10 September: Enjoy a healthy breakfast before departing from Port Elizabeth and travelling to Kariega Game Reserve, situated 80 minutes drive from Port Elizabeth. Set high above the spectacular Kariega River Valley, you cannot get closer to nature than in this wondrous African wilderness, in the heart of the 1820 Settler Country, with its rich historical heritage. Sanctuary to abundant game and wildlife such as lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhino, hippo, hyena, giraffe, zebra, eland, wildebeest, waterbuck and a variety of antelope, as well as a myriad of bird species, including nesting Martial, Crowned and Fish Eagles, this 6000 hectare private game reserve is a must, for those seeking the retreat and the thrill of the great outdoors and an African Safari vacation of a lifetime. Check in (Main Lodge, Kariage Private Game Reserve) and afterwards you can relax and take in the magnificent views. Later in the afternoon you shall be collected by an experienced Ranger in an open vehicle and you set out into the reserve for an evening safari. Kariega is home to abundant birdlife and game and you might spot Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Hippo, Hyena, Giraffe, Zebra and numerous antelope species. Sundowners are served in the tranquil surroundings of the African bushveld. Return to the lodge and freshen up before meeting in the pub for pre-dinner drinks (extra). Afterwards sample the speciality, the venison of the beautifully situated restaurant in Kariega Game Reserve (dinner included). Sunday, 11 September: Awaken to the beauty of Africa and today we suggest an early combined game drive and river cruise meandering down the Kariega River on the “Kariega Queen”. The cruise meandering along the thickly forested river bank will provide a perfect opportunity to view a wide range of kingfishers and other bird life or listen for the cry of the Fish Eagles that nest along the river. Enjoy a late breakfast upon your return to the Lodge. Between breakfast and lunch (incl.) you can simply relax or choose between a host of additional activities, such as numerous Hiking Trails (guided or unguided), Game viewing on Mountain Bikes or Canoeing Safari on the Kariega River! After lunch (included) and siesta time you can join a game drive to search for the more elusive members of the “Big Five”. The term Big Five was granted by big game hunters to the five most dangerous and difficult animals to hunt. The collection consists of the lion, the African elephant, the African Buffalo, the Leopard and the Black Rhinoceros. Enjoy your dinner (incl.) around the campfire under the stars of African night skies. Lit by lanterns, the Boma makes for an unforgettable culinary experience.

There’s entertainment, and then there’s the kind of entertainment where people leave saying something like, “That was AWESOME!” There’s never been anything like them, at least on this planet. Think vibrating techno music, light shows, comedy, lots of paint and outrageously talented Blue Men creating a wildly fun party atmosphere. Or you could just chill out and chat up. Inspired by the original ice bars and ice hotels in Scandinavia and one of only 14 ice bars in the world, the cruise industry’s first true ice bar is the ultimate chill.

General Conditions Holidays in the programme have been planned and are operated by Orange Cruises Ltd hereby referred to as “the Company” and / or “the Tour Operator”. To ensure maximum client satisfaction, we want you to enjoy your holiday to the full and return both satisfied and relaxed, and above all, convinced that you have been given good value for money. The General Conditions have been laid out to ensure that the deal between the Tour Operator and the client is clear and fair to both parties. These conditions cover virtually every aspect of your holiday from the moment you book to the moment you arrive back home. As we want everyone to know where they stand with us, the General Conditions clearly spell out our obligations to you and your commitments to us when you book a holiday with us from our brochure. OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU 1. Your Reservation Once you have completed and signed the booking form and paid your deposit, (which is of €150 per person on regular tours and €700 per cabin on Cruises) and have been issued a receipt by your travel agent, the booking is taken as confirmed and it is understood that you have read and accepted the accompanying terms and conditions. We will reserve your holiday and your booking is also taken to be confirmed in respect of all persons travelling in your party. 2. Our Price Policy Prices in this brochure are valid at the time of publication. It is possible that at the time of booking, the actual price of your chosen holiday may have increased from that shown in the brochure which we reserve the right to do. We guarantee that the price of your holiday will not be subject to any surcharge whatsoever. Once you have made your booking and paid a deposit, then the cost of your holiday cannot be increased, except in the case of substantial currency fluctuations and/or increase of taxes or levies and/or aircraft fuel increases imposed by airlines. A service charge of 3% of the cost of the holiday is being levied. The amount is included at the end of each programme together with the taxes. Prices for children are applicable for children under 12 years of age that are sharing with 2 adults. 3. Our Assurance on Standards and Assumption of Liability Our brochure descriptions are based on the information obtained from hoteliers and other service providers. Hotel rooms and ship cabins are always small, (sometimes very small). The Tour Operator only work with hotels & vessels having single or twin/double bedded rooms. A room/cabin for 2 passengers may either consist of two separate beds or a matrimonial bed (which can also mean two beds pushed together irrespective of gender). Triple or quadruple bedded rooms are never available. A third or a fourth person wanting to share a twin/double bedded room, will most probably be given either a small extra folding ‘camp’ bed, a bunk bed, or a sofa bed, which will make accommodation quite uncomfortable. In America three or four persons wanting to share a room will always be given two matrimonial beds or two Queen size beds, (separate beds for each person are not available). When two persons book a room for two, the Tour Operator reserves the right to either provide two separate beds or a large matrimonial bed. All hotels being offered are not air-conditioned and no fans will be provided, not even during extreme heat waves (unless clearly specified in the programme). Breakfast is only provided when specified, and is always continental unless specified. Lunches and dinners are always served on three course basis. No choice of food will be provided, neither changes can be accepted (e.g. having meat instead of fish). Portions served are always small/moderate in size. When buffet meals are provided a choice is available. Drinks, including water, during meals are always to be paid extra. Use of minibar, telephone and T.V. in rooms is also chargeable to the client. Unless clearly specified all entrance fees to museums and shows, boat trips, metro or cable car are always extra. All optional excursions are extra and unless clearly specified they only include transportation costs by coach, entrances are extra and no local guides are provided. An optional excursion will only be operated if the minimum number of paying participants reaches 25 adults; if not the Tour Operator will have the right not to operate the said excursion and will be under no obligation to compensate the Client/s for not operating the said optional excursion; furthermore the Client/s cannot cancel their planned group tour or cruise because one or more excursions could not be operated due to either lack of bookings or for some other technical reason which is beyond the Tour Operator’s control. Prices are clearly marked in the ‘price box’, at the end of each programme. Only items listed under ‘Price includes’ are included in the package price. Please remember that brochures are produced months in advance and there may be occasions when an advertised facility or entertainment is not available during your particular holiday, especially if it is out of high season. Bad weather, essential maintenance or cleaning, lack of support or demand may all effect the actual availability of particular activities or facilities; So, for instance, can such things as local licensing laws, religious or local holidays, or local authority or governmental restrictions. Similarly, touring itineraries may have to be changed sometimes at short notice, due to weather, road or traffic conditions, mechanical breakdowns, police activity etc. Coaches are not air-conditioned (except when clearly specified on a programme) and do not have onboard functional toilet facilities. Swimming pools may only be heated in colder weather and the general standard of hygiene, public utilities, drainage, plumbing and services in general may not be the same standards as in Malta. Each group tour is escorted by either a Maltese or an English speaking tour leader who will be responsible for the implementation of the programme according to the brochure. The tour leader is under no circumstance responsible to carry out work (unless for emergency), over and above the official programme and is not obliged to accompany members of the group around shops, flea markets or theme parks. Cruise companies reserve the right to change the itinerary due to bad weather or industrial action, in which case neither the cruise company nor the Tour Operator are liable to pay any form of compensation for the missed ports or the change of programme. If any portion of holiday is cancelled due to natural disasters, bad weather, industrial action, war, government restrictions or any matter of force- majeure, neither the Tour Operator nor its subcontractors can be held liable to pay compensation or for damages incurred. As a responsible company we feel it only right to point out these possibilities, however unlikely. If you have a particular problem, please inform the hotel reception desk and/or our representative at the time so that, if possible, it can be dealt with there and then. Having said all that, we want to give the following assurance about our liability to you:- We have

taken all reasonable steps to ensure that proper arrangements have been made for all the holidays which are advertised in this brochure. You will appreciate, however, that we have no direct control over the provision of services to you by suppliers. 4. If We Change Your Holiday Arrangements a) Before departure date We plan our holidays to give you the maximum enjoyment. Although it is unlikely, we may occasionally have to change your holiday arrangements and we reserve the right to do so any time. For instance, Flight timings may change, a hotel may close down or be overbooked, we may have to amend an itinerary, or sales of that holiday may not reach a level which would be economical for us to operate. If we have to make any changes, we will inform you or your Travel Agent as soon as is reasonably possible before departure. b) After Your Holiday Has Commenced Very occasionally it may be necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances, to change a hotel or some other part of your holiday arrangement after your holiday has commenced, in which event we will do our best to maintain the overall standard of the holiday arrangements. 5. If We Cancel Your Holiday Arrangements We may occasionally have to cancel your holiday arrangements. For instance sales of that holiday may not reach a level which would be economical for us to operate (minimum number of persons required to operate a tour is 30). We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your holiday and, in this event, we will return to you all the money you have paid us or will offer you an alternative holiday to purchase of comparable standard if available. In the unlikely event we have to cancel your trip, (unless for reasons beyond our control, i.e. industrial action, natural disasters, terrorist activities, breakdown of aircraft or ship etc.), the Tour Operator will refund you all money paid for the cost of your holiday plus, the following amounts as compensation (per person):Notification more than 15 days before departure nil Notification between 8-14 days - €50 Notification between 0-7 days - €100 6. Your Flight Details of your airlines we anticipate utilising are shown in the programme. The right is reserved to substitute alternative airlines and/or aircraft if necessary. Only flight timings are subject to confirmation and alteration. Our reservation system will show the latest timings as advised to us. Please check your flight tickets as soon as you receive them as they will show the final timing for your flights. Some flights may have intermediate stops en route and as factors effecting this are not always known before departure date we cannot always notify you in advance. Flights are subject to the granting of permits and licenses by authorities both in Malta and overseas. In the event of your flight arrangements being changed or cancelled as outlined in this section and sections 4 and 5, we accept no liability for extra costs or consequential loss arising, directly or indirectly, from any independent contract arrangements between the client and a third party. All flights are non-smoking. 7. Conditions Of Carriage Transport of any kind is subject to the conditions of carriage of the company providing that trip. These conditions are likely to embody the provisions of the law of the country of the company concerned or are likely to be subject to international conventions with government(s), any of which may limit or exclude the liability of the carrier (airline, coach, ship, etc.). YOUR COMMITMENT TO US 1. Booking Form And Deposits Your completed booking form showing all clients’ names as specified in your passport, must be accompanied by the appropriate deposit. No deposit is payable for infants under two years of age at the time of outbound travel. Holiday insurance cover is of utmost importance and we strongly advise that all our clients purchase a reliable travel insurance cover. The person signing the booking form confirms that he/she has the authority of all other persons mentioned on that form to make the booking on their behalf and that he/she has already accepted the General Conditions. If you are booking a late-offer holiday any information and conditions issued in conjunction with that offer are also part of your contract. If in doubt you should check with your Travel Agent. 2. Balance Of Payment The balance is due for payment eight weeks before departure for land tours & twelve weeks for cruise tours (can be earlier for certain cruises/ tours – please ask at time of booking), or immediately if the booking is made within eight/twelve weeks from departure. If you book through a Travel Agent, you should ensure that you pay the Agent in sufficient time to allow payments to reach our Company by the due date. If for any reason the balance is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel bookings and levy a cancellation charge as though there has been a cancellation in accordance with paragraph 4. If your chosen travel agent fails to pay in full (less the applicable commission) to the Tour Operator, the tour operators will be under no legal obligation to supply you with your holiday, so it isup to you to ensure that your travel agent pays the Tour Operator! Payments by credit cards are not accepted. No payments by cheque will be accepted less than 14 days before departure. As a norm we do not accept credit card payments, but if we do, we will have to charge you an administrative fee of 2% over the amount to be paid. 3. If You Change Your Booking Should you wish to change your holiday arrangements in any way we will endeavour to meet your wishes to the best of our ability. A handling fee for any such change to your booking within twelve weeks of departure date will be levied, then we reserve the right to pass on any additional costs incurred over and above the standard handling fee above already charged. Where the price varies depending on the number of persons booked into the accommodation and you wish to change that number of persons, the price will be recharged on the basis of the new party size as shown on the brochure. Any increase in the price per person payable as a result of a part cancellation (e.g.: for a hotel room under-occupancy, changing from twin room to single room) is not a cancellation charge.

A separate cancellation charge will be levied in respect of bookings cancelled in accordance with paragraph 4 below. 4. If You Cancel Your Booking A cancellation can only be accepted in writing from the person who signed the booking form or in writing from the Travel Agent through whom the booking was made. The cancellation will be effective from the date it is received at our offices. In the event of a cancellation either for one or all persons named on the booking form, we will levy our scale of cancellation charges, which is based on the estimated expenses and losses suffered by us as a result of cancellations. The scale follows:Period before scheduled departure date within which written notification is received by the Tour Operator (for land tours) 120 - 61 days - Deposit 29 - 60 days - 50% 28 - 15 days - 75% 14 days or less- 100% *or applicable deposit amount per person (2 years of age and over) whichever is the greater. For the conditions of cancellation fees for Cruises (groups and/or individual packages) please refer to the respective brochure. On scheduled service and charter flights, sea passages and coach transportation, the amount of cancellation charge shown above applies only in the event that any air tickets issued are returned to the Tour Operator, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge shown above applies. If the reason for your cancellation falls within the terms of your insurance cover, you may be able to claim a refund of your cancellation charges from the insurance company. In case of actual or potential outbreaks of Bird Flu, SARS, Swine Flu etc, or natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, floods, etc, or political turmoil, terrorist activities, act of war in a neighbouring country, industrial action, etc, clients will not have a right to cancel their holiday without incurring full cancellation fees as specified in these General Conditions unless either the country that is at risk or hit issues an official state of emergency for the area to which the Client is travelling, or the Maltese Foreign Office issues instructions that disallow Maltese citizens to travel to a particular country or area of a country. In case that a trip (or part of a trip) has to be cancelled for the above reasons, the Tour Operator will try its very best to recuperate all the funds possible on behalf of its Clients, but the Clients cannot hold the Tour Operator responsible for parts of the funds or of the holiday lost as a consequence of the above acts. 5. Your Holiday Insurance We highly recommend that you take out our recommended holiday insurance for yourself and those for whom you book or that you arrange a policy yourself giving comparable or better cover under all sections. We shall not be held responsible if you refuse to purchase a travel insurance. 6. Your Responsibilities a) It is your responsibility to ensure that you and those for whom you are booking are in possession of valid passports which are valid for at least six months after your scheduled date of return to Malta and any appropriate visas. Be sure to check passport and visa requirements with your Travel Agent well in advance particularly if you are a non- Maltese passport holder. Maltese nationals need visas for travel to a number of countries including the USA, Brazil, China, Egypt, Turkey and Russia and it is up the each Client to take care of his / her own visa for countries having such requirements. Should a visa not be issued, or withdrawn after issuance, or should a country refuse entry to a client for any reason (including invalidity of passport), the Tour Operator and, or his suppliers / subcontractors cannot be held responsible for damages or for partial or full loss of the holiday and any financial consequences will have to be borne by the Client. You are responsible for any charges, fines etc. that may be levied by authorities in Malta or overseas for non-compliance of regulations in this area and any such amounts will be recharged to you. b) Similarly, it is your responsibility to check with your doctor as to what vaccinations or inoculations are advisable for your chosen destination. c) Airline regulations state that women 28 weeks or more into pregnancy at the time of return travel must have a medical certificate of fitness to travel. d) You must be responsible for a reasonable standard of behaviour by yourself and by those for whom you have booked. We reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a client if their behaviour is, in our opinion, or in the opinion of the airline pilot, hotelier or accommodation owner or manager or other person in authority, likely to cause distress, danger, damage or annoyance to other customers, employees, other people or to property. You understand that we shall be under no liability to pay any refund or compensation to, or costs incurred by, any person whose behaviour is thus unacceptable. 7. If You Have A Complaint We do our best to give you an enjoyable & trouble-free holiday, but occasionally even the best laid plans can go wrong. If you have a problem or complaint relating to the overseas part of your holiday you must inform our tour leader or representative in writing at the earliest opportunity in order that it may be investigated during your stay and we have the opportunity to resolve the matter on the spot. In addition, you must notify us in writing within thirty days (30) from the date of your return from your holiday. Because of the difficulties of investigating a complaint too long after the event, we will not accept liability in respect of claims received after the thirty day period, and/or which have not been reported in writing to our representative or tour leader in resort.
