ACTIVITIES AIDE Full-Time NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANT Part-Time Employment. Responsible for performing various activities to meet the needs of residents in the Nursing Home including: meal service, cleaning, laundry duties and resident support services as well as participates in improving quality of care/service.
DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL WORKER SERVICES Responsible for managing and directing the operations of the social work department of the County’s Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. The incumbent is also expected to handle a caseload appropriate for a Licensed Master’s level social worker.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING The incumbent in this position provides administrative support to the Director of Nursing Services and engages in the supervision of professional and para-professional nursing staff. The incumbent will exercise independent judgment and discretion and may act as the Director of Nursing Services in his/her absence. Does related work as required. Applicants must possess a New York State license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse at time of application and must maintain said license throughout appointment.
ADMISSIONS SUPPORT COORDINATOR Responsible for the clinical review of person who may become a resident. Incumbent assists and facilitates admissions to the facility. Graduation from a NYSED program. Two years’ experience as a LPN with NYS license to practice.
MEDICAL TYPIST This is specialized clerical work of a moderately complex nature involving the transcription of physician orders and other medical dictation. Possession of a high school diploma or equivalency diploma. One year of full-time paid experience in a hospital, laboratory, medical doctor’s office or similar health care facility which shall have included transcription of medical dictation.
