Monday, January 23rd: MARCH FOR LIFE 2012!!! THIS WEEK AT THE NEWMAN CENTER: Tuesday night discussion: “Witness to life” Christa Lopiccolo, Executive Director, Department for Life Issues, Archdiocese of Washington, will present her strong and inspiring story and why she has chosen to work fulltime in the Church to defend life from conception to natural death. She will also give a broad overview of the Church’s teachings on life.
1)Rally and Mass for Life at DC Armory: 7:30-11:30am (meet at Newman at 7 am) Lunch at Newman afterwards. Fr Greg is preaching at the Mass!! 2)Mass for Life at Newman Chapel: 12:45pm (for those who can’t make Armory Mass) Lunch at Newman afterwards 3)Leave for March: 1:30pm "GW Catholics for Life" hats for all who attend the March. The only costs of the day will be after the March - if students choose to grab drinks or food on Capitol Hill and/or pay for transportation back to campus. On January 25, 7:30pm, Marvin Center Grand Ballroom, Rev. Carter Griffin of the Archdiocese of Washington and Dr. Peter Shook of the Center for Inquiry will have a civil debate about our human roots, life, and the existence of God.
