Aims and Objectives

The Cambridge IGCSE (9-1) History syllabus looks at major international issues of the twentieth century, as well as covering the history of Germany (1918-45) in more depth. The emphasis is on both historical knowledge and on the skills required for historical research. The Paper 2 topic, which will be studied in 2022-23, is “Why did international peace collapse by 1939?”
