Happenings from the Chief Dear Member As you will see in this month’s issue of the Happenings, Haig Point is gradually opening up for Club sponsored business. I am very proud of our community’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. Our safety precautions and diligence have kept us safe and demonstrated our commitment to our entire Haig Point member and staff family. The primary goal of the Reopening Plan is simple; protecting our members and staff. Haig Point is following guidelines from authorities and gradually reopening with operational best practices in place. We continue to strongly encourage all individuals to use face coverings while in public, and particularly while indoors on our boats and at our club facilities, keeping in mind that wearing a mask is primarily for the benefit of your fellow members, not the wearer. Haig Point has now resumed Golf, Tennis and Equestrian lessons. We are again offering outside dining at the Grill Room Patio and the Beach Deck. We are hopeful to have Member activities for Memorial Day Weekend. We look forward to opening our indoor dining venues and the community pools as soon as the Governor and DHEC approve. Please refer to the Member News section of the Club website for the latest announcements. I do not think there has ever been a better time to be a Haig Point Member. Activities may look slightly different as we navigate through this crisis but we look forward to safely enjoying our Club with our fellow Members and guests. I do not think there has ever been a better time to be a Haig Point Member
