QUIET HANDS

One of the biggest mistakes made on the volley is to use the hands too much. Try to keep your hands “quiet”. That is, don't use your hands too much.

The power on the volley should be from the feet. Make sure when you hit your volley you are stepping in or at least leaning into the volley. When you move for a volley, take your feet with you.

YOUR ADVANTAGE, HAIG POINT’S TENNIS NEWSLETTER

Want to keep in touch with everything going on at the tennis center? With all of our special events, USTA teams, and programs the tennis center is one of the busiest spots on Haig Point. The best way to stay on top of everything is to receive our weekly newsletter, Your Advantage. Contact the tennis center to have your email address added to our distribution list.
