IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! I JUST RETURNED FROM THE MOST WONDERFUL VACATION OF THE YEAR AND I CAN’T WIPE THE SILLY SMILE OFF MY FACE. I CAME (NEAR LY) DIRECTLY FROM THE AIRPORT BACK TO THE DESIGN STUDIO HERE AT POLO LIFESTYLES TO APPROVE FINAL LAYOUTS AND CHECK EACH ITEM IN THE HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE.

Knowing this is one of the most-read issues of the year, we start working on it in July, though we often reserve space for new, unique, luxurious and exclusive items right up to the last minute. Our annual round-up of extravagant and exclusive gift ideas for the whole family is another masterpiece of curation (if I do say so myself!) and I would be remiss not to thank the entire team – from designers to sales staff, photographers to advertising partners, you make the Holiday Gift Guide an edition worthy of the most particular coffee tables in the world.

Having just returned from 8 days in St-Barthelemy, I’m still a bit jetlagged as I type this, but extremely encouraged by whom we met, what we ate and where we stayed. We coordinated the trip with nearly 20 partnering brands in preparation for our February 2023 Special St-Barths Edition. From chefs to concierges, fine dining to toesin-the-sand lunches, private jets to fun rental cars, we purposefully put together an itinerary worthy of your next vacation. All that and more is coming up in the February issue.

When I flip through the pages of the December Holiday Gift Guide issue, I feel the spirit of the holidays and I can’t help but hope you do, too. Wherever you are and wherever you’re going this season, we wish you all the best and even better days to come in 2023!

SNOW, FUR & PONIES THE STORY OF SNOW POLO

SNOW POLO IS A MODIFIED VERSION OF TRADITIONAL FIELD POLO.

It is played on a flat area of compacted snow or a frozen lake, and provides the same speed and physicality as grass polo but is considered much

quicker due to the smaller playing area.

Although first conceived in 1959, snow polo did not get its official start until 1985 in Switzerland when the world premiere of a polo tourna ment on snow was played on the frozen lake surface in the Engadin mountain valley resort town St. Moritz.

The snow polo tournament was initiated by Engadin native and hotelier Reto Gaudenzi. It continues to be one of the most impres sive polo events in Europe. Gaudenzi started playing polo in 1978, was captain of the Swiss national team with a handicap of +3 and co-founder and president of the Swiss Polo Association.

In 1983 a Swiss team played an international match for the first time and in 1993 St. Moritz hosted the FIP European Snow Championship.

After the success of the 1985 St. Moritz snow match, the first spin-off match took place four years later in the Italian town of Cortina

d’Ampezzo. As in Engadin, a frozen lake served as the pitch in the Dolomites – on Lago di Landro to start with, then Lago di Misurina.

Today, nearly 40 years later, the Snow Polo World Cup St.

Moritz is not only one of the most prestigious polo tourna ments in the world, but snow polo is one of the most popu lar types of polo and attracts some of the highest numbers of spectators – and was also

the inspiration for beach polo in 2004.

As snow polo rapidly gained in popularity it is played today not only in Switzerland but Italy, Austria, France, Argentina, Russia, Spain,

Poland, Slovakia, Germany, China, Canada and the United States. Not all snow polo locations are played in permanently – but St. Moritz is one that is. Each year new locations are added to the

agenda and inspirational snow polo is played around the globe in the most re nowned and popular winter sports locations and polo destinations.

The inaugural Snow Polo World Cup 2012 took place at the Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club. During February 2016 MontTremblant hosted the second edition of a Canadian Snow Polo tournament.

The highest snow polo tournament in the world was the 2014 Snow Polo Master’s Tournament at nearly 9,000 feet in Courchevel located in the French Alps and it is part of Les Trois Vallées (The Three Valleys), the largest ski resort in the world.

The oldest snow polo tournaments include the Polo Masters in France’s Megève, the World Snow Polo Championship in north America’s Aspen, Colorado, and the Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel in Austria.

In the U.S. snow polo is com peted exclusively in Aspen, Colorado. Games are played on a snow-packed arena sur rounded by fencing keeping the ball in play. Teams are

comprised of three players, as in typical arena polo. Play consists of four 7-minute chukkers. The polo ponies are shod with special cleated shoes to provide better traction. The ball is larger and lighter, and bright red, to better accommodate winter conditions.

In 2015 the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz celebrated its 30th anniversary – with its founder as the new organiz er. Reto Gaudenzi, who orga nized the tournament for its first 15 years and won it five times, returned to his roots and took on the responsibil ity for organizing the event with his team and Evviva Polo St. Moritz AG.

The St. Moritz snow tour

page 71 WWW POLOLIFESTYLES COM

nament is still considered the reference for this discipline and has only had to be canceled twice in its long history. In 2012 it was simply not cold enough and the lake was not adequately fro zen through and the 37th Tournament event that was to be held at the end of January 2021 was  postponed because of the Covid-19 epidemic and played in January 2022.

In 2020 for the first time in their history, Team St. Moritz won the 36th Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz and ulti mately prevailed over Team Azerbaijan

Land of Fire. The world’s foremost ‘high-goal‘ snow polo tournament was a big success attracting more than 18,000 spectators.

At the end of January 2022 for the first time, six instead of four teams of the highest calibre competed in the world’s most exclusive high-goal snow polo tournament in St. Moritz. The players, such as snow polo pros Valentin Novillo Astrada (ARG), Max Charlton (UK), Robert Strom (FRA) and Tito Gaudenzi (CH), combined to make up nine nationalities. The top Argentine players

Guillermo “Sapo” Caset, Isidro Strada, Alejandro Novillo Astrada, and the out standing US-American polo player Nic Roldan delivered plenty of excitement. The 2019 tournament winner Melissa Ganzi from the USA was also there with her son Grant competing together on team Badrutt’s Palace Hotel for one of the most prestigious trophies in polo sport.

The 38th Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz 2023 will be played 27-28-29 January 2023.

Or secure a place on her sis ter yacht, Emerald Sakara, which will launch in August 2023. There’s no better way to see this gorgeous expanse of blue sea that’s home to more than 700 islands, reefs, and cays.

And with intimate numbers of fellow travelers stepping out to explore, you’re free of the rush and hassle of commer cial ports. Instead, you can enjoy the easy and attentive vibe that—for the discerning traveler—is essential during a Caribbean vacation. The hardest part might be choosing where to visit, with more than 10 island-hopping itinerar ies available, including the Grenadines and Grenada, the Eastern Caribbean, Central America, and more.

Discover the lesser-known side of stunning St. Barths, a hidden jewel long admired by those with bold-faced names and seclusion seekers. It’s laid back with few crowds and gives you

the impression you’ve traded daily life for paradise. Or consider the taste and grace of Guadeloupe’s Terre-de-Haut, which some say feels like the South of France, but with tropical flora and an island point-of-view. Here locals chat in French and balance the culinary traditions of the islands with European refinement. And those iconic pictures of azure Caribbean waters? That’s the scene waiting in soothing Saint Lucia (the only sovereign nation to be named for a woman). There’s an enchanting blend of Caribbean, African, English, and French cultures on one gorgeous island.

THE MOST REVITALIZING ONBOARD EXPERIENCES IN THE CARIBBEAN

Sleek and elegant, Emerald Azzurra is akin to a floating boutique hotel, passing through the diamond-like sparkles of the sea gracefully—with style that’s re flected in the consummate hospitality of the crew. While the experience includes plenty of opportunities to taste local cuisine while on the islands, guests savor meals served on the yacht. Experienced chefs create dinners focused on fresh, local ingredients with complimentary wine pairings by the sommelier.

Take a drink to the alfresco terrace or cozy lounge or bring a book to one of the comfortable and quiet nooks—that best-seller is better with an ocean breeze and a frosty gelato. Keep in tune with movement and self-care with a stop at the yacht’s well-equipped gym, infini

ty-style pool, spa, infrared sauna, and wellness classes. Unwind and sleep deep in your finely-appointed suite or state room, designed with a modern and fresh look that exceeds expectations and is as harmonious as a magazine spread.

IMMERSE IN TIMELESS COLONIAL CHARM AND NATURAL ENCOUNTERS

The endless warmth and world-class service on board balances the magnetic pull to set foot (or the wheels of your complimentary electric bike) on island ground. Free from the restraints of larg er ports, Emerald Azzurra drops guests into people zones, places where the locals explore, eat, socialize, and relax. Curated by experienced journey design

ers, outings provide insightful moments, such as encounters with birds and wild life, artisanal shopping, concerts, hilltop hikes, expert guides, strolls down the most famous streets in the region, and responsible access to some of the world’s untouched natural environments. And

when the captain drops anchor in the picturesque blue, guest can float right in the sea on marine toys or dive under with snorkeling gear or SEABOBs.

It’s all part of how Emerald Cruises helps you more deeply explore the Caribbean’s mix of cultural and natu

PART BAR, PART LOUNGE; ALL PARTY

WHAT HAPPENS AT MONDAINE STAYS AT MONDAINE

CANOPIES, SMOKING ROOM... THE NEW FES TIVE RESTAURANT DE SIGNED LIKE A BACHELOR PAD IN PARIS

Push open the doors of this brand-new house of Parisian nightlife and immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere of the 1970s. Soft lighting, velvet, mirrors

and XXL disco balls... Welcome to Mondaine, temple of luxury from the Paris Society group, already owner of famous restaurants Bonnie, Gigi and Mūn.

Like a bachelor pad, Mondaine invites you to a unique and decadent party experience. We wander through the spaces distributed over two floors, each of which has its own atmosphere:

The Fumoir, the Bedroom, the Bar, the Alcoves, the Canopies and the Library. It was the architect Daphné Desjeux, author of the interiors of the Tribe hotel or the La Marine restaurant in Paris, who thought of the place:  “I imagined the decor of Mondaine as a fantasy... That of a beautiful bourgeois, of the great world, who organizes memorable receptions for choice friends, alongside the magnificent Yves Saint-Laurent ,

VOLUME VI / ISSUE VI / NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2022 page 82

the indomitable Serge Gainsbourg and other emblematic characters”. The soundtrack follows, in fact, by offering live musicians who move according to the evening and the spaces.

The architecture and the sensual dec oration bear witness to this: seats and benches all in roundness, curved lights and soft carpets. Note: a heart chair in spired by Mireille Darc ‹s famous dress

in «The Tall Blond with a Black Shoe», particularly sculptural. “I looked for the sexy without the vulgar, the intoxication without the inebriation, the chic without the too much”, adds the architect. The dark leopard on the stools, the floral cot ton on the lampshades or the many vin tage objects create an atmosphere that is both comforting and disconcerting.

At the table, the concept is just as irrev

erent: luxury products — caviar, lobster or sole — to share like mezes, but also more traditional dishes revisited like fillet of beef, coffee sauce, or creme bru lee, cotton candy. The bar honors iconic Parisian drinks, with cocktails prepared by knowledgeable mixologists: the Red Velvet mixes Gin, Vermouth, orange and blackcurrant; the Parisian Evening suggests a sober and chic glass of cham pagne embellished with elderberry.

page 83 WWW POLOLIFESTYLES COM

Exhilarating and crazy, Mondaine can be discovered for an evening or for New Year’s Eve when the restaurant offers a special evening with an exceptional menu.

This magnificent sculptural creation is crafted from reflective mirrors and accented with light which pulses and undulates.

The diamond has long been a special icon in the world of Jimmy Choo with Sandra often dreaming of what it would be like to step inside one – therefore the tree is created for guests to actually enter and stand inside to take in a magi cal and shining, diamond-refracted space. The tree is finished with a giant, glittering bow topper - a nod to one of the key design themes of the brand’s winter collection.

DESIGNER BABIES ALREADY WALK AMONG US

IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE PARENTS CAN CHOOSE THE GENETIC MAKEUP OF THEIR BABIES AND GIVE THEM SPECIAL TRAITS THROUGH GE NETIC ENGINEERING.

In theory, these traits can vary from lower resistance to diseases to even gender selection. In a way, design er babies are already here, and their significance to the future of healthcare is already shaping modern pregnancies.

The term “designer baby” refers to a baby that has been given special traits through genetic editing. This is usually done by altering the genes of the egg, sperm, or embryo. These traits can vary from lower resistance to diseases to even gender selection.

Designer babies are made possible through in vitro fertilization (IVF). They are achieved either by removing small sections of the existing genome or by introducing new segments of DNA into the genome. A new procedure called CRISPR allows scientists to cheaply and rapidly alter the genome of almost any organism.

“I do not love the term ‘designer babies’ because it is imprecise. [In one sense], they are already here and have been for a long time,” says Glenn Cohen, Harvard Law School Faculty Director and a leading expert in bioethics and law. “When [individuals] consider the need to use a sperm donor for artificial insemination… they engage in a form of trait selection.”

“The catalogs that feature sperm ‘donors’ (donors in scare quotes because they are paid) recruited for sperm banks have already excluded 99% of applicants, and who is left tends to have very desirable health, intelli gence, and beauty traits. The same is true for egg donors. So already parents using these technologies are ‘designing’ their babies,” he added.

For instance, in 2017, a group of scientists an nounced that they had suc cessfully edited a human embryo to eradicate a heart condition.

While gene editing in humans remains a contro versial topic, not all forms of human genetic manipu lation are in question. For instance, it could be used to alter cells in the body’s

immune system in order to target and destroy cancer cells or to replace the genes that cause sickle cell anemia with non-sickle cell genes.

The only issue with genetic editing arises when there are no limits. Typically, gene editing can be performed on both somatic cells and stem cells. Altering somatic cells, which are cells in the body other than sperm and egg cells, for the treatment of a particular disease or illness isn’t generally controversial. However, editing stem cells, which are special cells that have the ability to develop into many different cell types, is illegal in the United States and many other countries. And even where it’s not illegal, it’s in contravention of research guidelines, as well as moral and ethical standards. This is primarily because altering one gene in a stem cell may lead to unintended effects on other genes.

While the intricacies of designer babies may sound like the plotline of a science fiction movie, it has been a real part of modern science for quite some time. Geneediting technologies are currently being applied in mammalian cells and whole animal models to under

stand how gene variations are linked to disease. This demonstrates the potential for this technology to be used to investigate and treat human diseases.

In the future, this tech could poten tially be applied to other diseas es based on single gene mutations, including Huntington’s disease, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia, and Tay-Sachs disease.

However, designer babies certainly raise serious safety and ethical concerns. The primary concern is that any changes to DNA could become a permanent part of the human genetic blueprint. And if scientists were to make a mistake, they could introduce a new disease that could be passed down to future generations.

As genetic technology advances, we may be on the verge of a slippery slope. Many scientists, ethicists, and legislators fear a future in which babies are genet ically designed for features that have little to do with preventing deadly medical disorders, such as athletic prowess, eye color, and I.Q.

ROLLS-ROYCE TESTS HYDROGEN-POWERED JET ENGINE

AEROSPACE MANUFAC TURER ROLLS-ROYCE HAS SUCCESSFULLY TESTED AN EARLY CONCEPT ENGINE USING HYDROGEN FROM WIND AND TIDAL POWER. IT MARKS THE WORLD’S FIRST AERO ENGINE TO RUN ON HYDROGEN.

The aviation industry is responsible for up to 15 percent of global green house gas emissions, according to the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI). To curb this global issue, many airplane manufacturers are trying to reduce carbon emissions by working to develop planes that use alter native fuels, such as hydrogen.

In an effort to prove hydrogen can safely and efficiently power plane engines, Rolls-Royce, in collaboration with

Easyjet, has created an aero engine prototype that runs on hydrogen. The engine has passed the ground test and second-stage tests are underway. However, according to the company, flight tests remain a longer-term goal.

After the first successful ground test, Rolls-Royce representatives said, “it marked a major step towards proving that hydrogen could be a zero-carbon aviation fuel of the future.”

Grazia Vittadini, Rolls-Royce CTO, said in a statement, “the success of this hydrogen test is an exciting mile stone. We’re pushing the boundaries to discover the zero carbon possibilities of hydrogen, which could help reshape the future of flight.”

The appeal of hydrogen is in its ability to produce water vapor instead of carbon

dioxide. This feature makes Rolls-Royce and Easyjet’s innovation very significant in the aviation industry’s goal of becom ing net zero by 2050.

Another compa ny, Hybrid Air Vehicles, is also developing sustainable, massive airships with zero carbon footprint.

Despite advancements in sustainable aviation, experts predict most airlin ers will continue to rely on tradition al engines until the 2050s. Because designing electric planes or jet engines that run on fossil fuel alternatives like hydrogen is complex. So, if it ever hap pens, we would have to wait a bit longer for commercialized hydrogen-powered jet engines.

Bird Cay and Cat Cay - The Bahamas

$50,000,000

Arriving in The Berry Islands is like stepping into a living watercolor, where aqua marine sea kisses the white sands of 30 islands, surrounding them with variegated swirls. This picture of tranquility lies in the northwestern part of the Bahamas Out islands and is bordered by an underwater trench known as the Tongue of the Ocean—making it a haven for marine life. Bird Cay, a 230-acre island for sale at the south end of the chain, now presents the opportunity for a visionary to add their own brush strokes to this private scene. It’s a quintessential tropical beauty with more than 4.75 miles of water frontage, sandy beaches, spectacular ocean views, numerous trails, citrus groves, and plenty of coconut palm accents.

Development on the island is currently underway, including 12 cottages, an owner’s house, two warehouses, solar field, desalination plant, and deep-wa ter ramp for building materials. The island has duty-free approvals, and with its flowing grassland, there’s even room to construct a few golf holes. Also included is Cat Cay, a 37-acre private island with its own beautiful white-sand beach and untouched Caribbean foliage that sits just off Bird Cay’s northern tip. Neighboring islands and sand banks keep this island duo protected on all sides, while the proximity to the Great Bahama Bank and the Tongue of the Ocean make this heaven for anglers and scuba divers. Although the location feels blissfully remote, it’s a mere 30 minutes by air from Nassau; and Chub Cay, home to a top-notch marina, a private resort club, restaurants, and a 5,000-foot airstrip with customs and immigration, lies just west. In one sizable freehold package, Bird Cay and Cat Cay offer the spectrum of private island possibilities—from family compound to business retreat to an island resort as dazzling as the surrounding sea.

GUCCI'S ALESSANDRO MICHELE BOWS OUT

THE CREATIVE LEADER’S SEV EN-YEAR REIGN AT GUCCI WAS MARKED WITH HIGH LIGHT AFTER HIGH LIGHT IMPACTING HOW THE INDUS TRY BENCHMARKED SUCCESS IN DESIGN, CREATIVE COM MUNICATION AND BUSINESS. IN LATE NOVEMBER, AFTER 20 YEARS WITH THE BRAND, THE COMPA NY ANNOUNCED HIS DEPARTURE.

Six fashion contributors re flect on Alessandro Michele’s greatest gifts to the world of style and fashion.

KENNETH RICHARD

While there are a slew of show and campaign mo ments that I’ve relished over the years of Alessandro’s ten ure, my favorite memories are from his intimate chats with key press members post shows. What I find endear ing and memorable is how humorous and down-toearth Alessandro is during these high-profile moments. He always spoke honestly to the business, his inspirations; never over conceptualizing them with ‘fashion speak.’

During these moments, he reflected on his own decisions with self-effac ing humor, laughing at his reasoning, dreams and decision making. Journalists would throw opinions about his collections at him (rather than questions) and he would answer with wit, sharing how the referenc es were never as highbrow as the media would like to think. He did the Gucci Adidas because he remem bered how cool he thought the Madonna one-off dress Adidas did in the 90s was and he always loved seeing branded everyday clothes from the street. He pointing out of his gender fluidity at Gucci was simply because he was a menswear designer that designed what he knew and loved; the fluidity was a simply byproduct. His ‘Ha-ha-ha’ collection was driven from laughter with his friend Harry Styles, with the two of them playing in the design sandbox rather than over conceptualizing the collaboration.

ANGELA BAIDOO

As we all absorb the news of yet another creative force exiting stage left, the impact Alessandro Michelle was able to have on both Gucci and the industry as a whole, will shore up his legacy in the hallowed halls of the fashion

greats.

In recalling one collection that struck a chord from his tenure as Creative Director, his Resort 2021 look book shoot, which was construct ed during the not-to-distant pandemic days when most models, photographers, stylists, and make-up artists were sheltering in place, saw

Michele create a compelling digital ‘fashion show’ that stood out among the sea of experimentation that was happening at the time.

For each look of this Resort collection, a different member of the design team – from women’s ready-towear to kidswear – replaced the models, with each team

members name and position immortalized with their photo on a simple post-it note. Taking the time to shine a spotlight on his colleagues was reflective of the time, and of the designer’s desire for a much-needed realignment, which he may now be able to achieve on his own terms.

MARK WITTMER

While Michele is beloved for his whimsically nostal gia-tinged designs, a major part of his success at Gucci was due to the ad campaigns he oversaw as creative direc tor. One of the most memo rable of these campaigns was the Fall 2021 outing for his “Aria” collection. Teaming up with famous photography

duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Michele drew out his collection’s play of lavish op ulence and sexual innuendo into a lush visual world popu lated by liberated personae.

Countless brands rely on sex appeal, but here Gucci delivered a take on it that felt eminently modern, exploring the emotional and intellectual truths that are part of eroticism, rather than the banal immediacy of conventionally attractive bodies. Balancing fantasy and reality, the campaign was also a clever acknowledgment that fashion is only one expressive component in a larger human experience. Gucci’s clothes are beautiful, but the greatest thing about them might be

taking them off.

LIZZY BOWRING

In these strange, unprece dented times when the world has reached a tipping point, brands have had to improve their relationships with their target consumers and develop a sense of community to succeed. The partnership and mutual respect between Alessandro Michele and Gucci’s CEO did just that. Marco Bizarri allowed the de signer to explore his ingenu ity and, in doing so, dramat ically changed the look and demographics of the brand.  Michele is a designer who, over his seven-year tenure at Gucci, has touched the soul of the fashion industry

with his deep and thoughtful creativity, manifesting in the most memorable collection for S/S 23. His stunning ‘Twinsburg’ presentation was passionate, surprising, and the season’s highlight. It did not go unnoticed that so many show attendees left with a deep sense of heartfelt emotion. Isn’t that the role of a Creative Director? To tell the story with profound effect?

Still, there has been a burning question every season around how much this continuous reinvention of ‘grandmother’s closet’ could continue to be successful. The words reso nate from the pre-show post ing on the Gucci Instagram, “The more you look, the

VOLUME VI / ISSUE VI / NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2022 page 134

more you see, a window to infinity.” And if this were his swansong, Alessandro Michele would undoubtedly be an infinite memory for Gucci.

DAO TRAN

It wouldn’t be a complete ex aggeration to say Alessandro Michele did not only revolu tionize Gucci in the time he was there, but also the whole fashion world. His diverse casting, gender fluid fashion, multicultural influences, play with maximalism and ugly chic flung open the doors to a celebration of individuality and diversity and creativity. It was wildly popular because

everybody could see them selves reflected in some part of it, feel seen and welcomed.

With authentic messaging to fly your freak flag and the creative community as its fan club, it was lived and ampli fied by mega celebrities like Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Jared Leto and so many more to a passionate glob al community. Alessandro Michele’s dream factory was peak manifested in the Spring 2022 blowout bonanza on Hollywood Boulevard, a dream come true of an event with all the glitz and the glamor and the sparkle, but also just a chill party atmosphere with your com

munity. That is the magic of Alessandro Michele, such an inspired and inspiring creator will surely continue to shine wherever he lands next and his community will be right there with him.

OBI ANWANYU

Alessandro Michele is a marvel whose tenure at Gucci will not be forgotten. There are millions around the world who were introduced to the House through Michele’s work and may consider his run as Creative Director to be the epitome of Gucci. To follow Tom Ford’s sexu ally charged era and Frida Giannini’s lengthy era that

coincided with the House’s rapid global growth is no easy feat, but Michele carved a unique moment in fashion that was the antithesis of rising streetwear trends and is the precursor to today’s billowing menswear silhou ettes seen with brands like Casablanca, Jacquemus and Bode to name a few. Michele bucked trends and started a new retro trend that many couldn’t grasp until about 7 years since his first showing. Now, celebrities like Harry Styles and Tyler the Creator don authentic Michele for Gucci ensembles or looks reminiscent of the maestro’s magic.

A very appealing part of Michele’s tenure is how he was able to merge his ret ro aesthetic with modern streetwear and youth culture through collaborations with

Adidas and The North Face, as well as the New York Yankees and Roblox. While Michele’s work made 1970’s flair prescient again, he continued to modernize the

House with projects that the consumer has wanted to see for ages and new ones that never saw coming. That is how you honor the past and step into the future, that is

how you create timelessness, and that is why Michele’s tenure at Gucci will not be forgotten.

MIAMI CHANEL RESORT 23

STYLE

CHANEL RESORT 23

Virginie Viard hit a sweet spot for lovers of fashion and Formula 1 with her Chanel Cruise 2022/23 collection. Among the 67 looks that debuted at the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel last May were pit-crew coveralls, hel met-shaped bags, and breezy dresses in starter flag prints, all inspired by Monaco’s famous pastime. But these looks, along with checkered bathing suits and T-shirts emblazoned with race cars, were also the perfect prelude for the first F1 Grand Prix held in Miami on May 8, just three days after the French Riviera presentation.

On Friday, November 3, the assortment officially made landfall in Southern Florida in Chanel’s whirlwind repeat outing for resort 2023. Just before sunset at Miami’s Faena Hotel Miami Beach a distinct soundtrack of whiz zing vehicles signaled the collection’s arrival on a sandy boardwalk turned runway. At the starting line, once again, was Viard’s scarlet tweed take on an F1 jumpsuit. (It’s become something of a hero piece in the designer’s oeuvre, thanks to brand ambassa dor Kristen Stewart wearing it to the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.) The motocore

ensembles, however, are just a sampling of the season’s offerings which hit stores this month and range from ladylike skirt suits styled with chunky sneakers to casino shirt dresses and jet-black glittering gowns in relaxed silhouettes.

The Faena’s famous red and white cabanas served as the fitting backdrop for the house’s first Miami show in 14 years (the last time was when Karl Lagerfeld took over the historic Raleigh Hotel for resort 2008/09). The two-toned color scheme called to mind both F1’s

signature hue and Monaco’s national flag—a direct nod to the original cruise stag ing. Among the cozy chaise lounges and deck chairs were friends of the house Pharrell Williams, Lily Rose Depp and Marion Cotillard. While Williams opted for a tropical Hawaiian print ensemble from the 2021 Coco Beach collection, Depp and Cotillard arrived in looks straight from Chanel’s spring 2023 runway. They were joined by guests Lori Harvey, Ella Balinska, and Netflix’s Partner Track star Arden Cho.

ISLAND GETAWAYS OF ROYAL PROPORTIONS

Take a cue from the Royal Family and escape to exclusive Mustique

An island where my fellow anglophiles and royal family devotees can walk in Princess Margaret’s footsteps on the grounds of Les Jolies Eaux.  This Oliver Messel designed villa has been featured in Architectural Digest but is mostly known as the Princess’s beloved escape from the harsh eyes of the royal family and the rest of the world.

Les Jolies Eaux is available to let for your next exclusive island excursion and as an opportunity to immerse yourself in its romantic history. If you prefer to own your own piece of this secluded Caribbean jewel, here are three mag

On each flank of the house both upstairs and downstairs are generously propor tioned bedroom suites, two upstairs and two downstairs. From all suites, sliding doors open onto wide, decked terraces, upstairs over the tree canopy and the island toward other neighboring islands and downstairs immediately onto the

The house is also set within wild tropical grounds with an Asian themed land scaped garden and further outdoor dining areas.

RESPLENDENT REDS FOR THE HOLIDAYS

THERE IS RED EVERY WHERE

DURING THE HOLIDAY SEA SON. CRIMSON TREE TRIM MINGS “POP” IN ANY DECO RATED HOLIDAY TREE. BOWS, BIG AND SMALL AND IN EV ERY POSSIBLE HUE OF RED, PUNCTUATE ENTRYWAYS, BUILDINGS AND GIFTS UNDER THE TREE.

And what would the holidays be with out a good Scotch plaid tie or jacket or a sensuous silken crimson dress while celebrating with family or friends?

Red is everywhere and it should also

be in your glass. The cooler months in the Northern Hemisphere cry out for indulging in the diverse sensory expe riences of delicious reds. And so, this month we highlight a few of my favorite, accessible, and high quality-to-price ra tio reds I’ve encountered this past year.

Perhaps no name speaks to the prowess of Argentine wine making than that of Bodega Catena Zapata. They are credited, almost single-handedly, of putting Malbec front and center as the crown jewel of the country’s viniculture and elevating the grape’s unique charac teristics when grown in the country to international star status.

Founded over a century ago, the nar rative has it that the family’s patriarch, Nicola Catena, sailed in 1898 from famine-stricken Italy for a better life in Argentina. Four years later, in 1902, he planted the first of his Malbec grapes

in the Andean foothills of Mendoza, eventually turning a desert landscape at 5,000 feet of altitude into a lush oasis of vines and grapes.

Nicola’s eldest son, Domingo, eventu ally headed the family business (more on him shortly) and then in the mid 1960’s it passed into the extraordinarily capable hands of Nicolás Catena Zapata. The family affair continues to this day with daughter Laura Catena playing a prominent role in what the family refers to as the “third revolution” in their wine making, namely a much deeper research and study of the terroir of Mendoza and its individual vineyard sites to create the absolute best wines.

Returning to Domingo, it is after him that the D.V. Catena Tinto Histórico was launched as a signature blend in 2014. “Domingo Vincente Catena was fa mous in the 1930s for his deep, dark red blend. This wine was sold in the bistros

VOLUME VI / ISSUE VI / NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2022 page 170

of Buenos Aires as the finest wines from the Mendoza region,” as the vineyard communicates the ongoing homage to family and place in each of their wines.

They do their family proud in this bombshell blend. Their inaugural release consisted of Malbec and Petit Verdot, but since that vintage, Bonarda has become part of each vintage’s blend as well. Bonarda is not nearly as wellknown as Malbec and Petit Verdot, but its cultivation dates back some 3,000 years ago to the Etruscans. In Argentina, it is the second most widely planted variety after Malbec and is believed to have been imported to the country by Italian immigrants.

This past year I’ve tasted both the 2018 and 2019 vintages, and each is a blend of 75 percent Malbec, 19 percent Bonarda, and six percent Petit Verdot. Remarkable consistency from year to year, the addition of Petit Verdot and

Bonarda create a richness to the fresh, fruity intensity of the Malbec.

Deep garnet and opaque in the glass, hints of cedar and oak dominate the nose, imparted in part by aging any where from 12 to 14 months in both new and used French oak barrels. The blend elevates the high-altitude Malbec with notes of spiciness and intensity to the plum and dark cherry fruits. Velvety tannins linger into a lush appreciation in the unmistakable profile of Uco Valley grown Malbec. Its finish is long with clay, minerals, dried violets, and lush earthiness. Immensely enjoyable on its own or alongside some charcuterie, it’s a perfect match for grilled beef and roasted, earthy root vegetables.

James Suckling gave the 2018 a 94 score and while the 2018 might be more elu sive to find, the 2019 is readily available, scored 93 by Suckling, and can be had at an astonishing price-to-quality ratio.

PAYDIRT RED BLENDS

I like big, bold and bodacious red blends. Though not for everyone, it’s that initial exhalation of not having had that exact taste profile ever before. I remember the very first time I had The Prisoner many years ago…and swooned. It’s that same experience I had when encountering two red blends from California’s Paydirt, the 2018 Land of Riches Reserve and the 2019 Going for Broke. The connection to The Prisoner is no mistake as the founder of Paydirt’s own roots run right back to that now, icon of blends.

From wine maker Land of Riches, Paydirt is the upstart brand of wine in dustry veteran Patrick McNeil and head winemaker Kent Jarman, a Duckhorn alum. The duo’s history in the business enables them to source extraordinary fruit from some of California’s premier growers and vineyards.

page 171 WWW POLOLIFESTYLES COM

In Search of Solace Happy Holidays

The 2018 Reserve red blend sources grapes from the Dusi family’s famed vineyards of Zinfandel in Paso Robles. Primitivo is sourced from the Lewis Ranches in Lodi and Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Pacheco Ranch in Marin County. Those are three of the seven different grapes that make up the blend, with Mourvèdre, Syrah, Barbera, Petite Sirah, and Grenache rounding out the bounty.

Calling the result “bold” is an understatement. It is an explosion of juicy blackber ries and overripe raspberries balanced out by harmonious, bal anced tan nins. Hints of spice and garden mint linger on the palate and a full year of aging in neutral

French oak provides just the right maturation to tame what could easily have been a “fruit bomb” in the hands of a less skilled winemaker. This was by far my favorite red find of 2022 and as indi cation that I was not alone, it has been more difficult to find.

Thankfully, I discovered the 2019 Going for Broke blend when perusing the wine list at Farmshop in Marin while dining with work colleagues. I shared with the sommelier that I was a fan of the 2018 Reserve and he assured me that I’d be very pleased with this Paydirt blend.

Pleased I was. Sourced again from Dusi family vineyards and Lewis Ranches, the Dairy Vineyard, also known as Schmeidt Ranch in Lodi, was added to round out the grow

ers for the Going for Broke Blend. It also included seven of the eight varietals from the 2018 Reserve, with only the Barbera failing to make an appearance.

Going for Broke was lighter on Zinfandel (70 percent ver sus 81 percent) which yields a still brave, but more re served experience. Blueberry preserves and other ripened brambles dominate with hints of flint, smoke and cacao. Big, fruity and fresh in every way, its deep purple and opaqueness in the glass underscore the boldness of the wine. Twelve months in neutral oak again does justice to the harmony and utter enjoyability of this red blend.

I’d be remiss in not men tioning the incredible artwork that makes its way onto Paydirt’s bottles. Reminiscent of a pioneering

time in California history, they visually tell a tale that what resides (temporarily) inside that bottle represents a journey and a history that are part and parcel of the overall experience.

Both blends are perfection when enjoyed on their own, but of course are the perfect complement to enhance a grilled filet of beef, seared elk or other game meats. The price-to-quality ratio is also excellent with Paydirt’s blends, hearkening back to the time where California’s iconic blends where com fortably priced for everyday drinking.

Happiest of Holiday wishes to each Polo Lifestyles reader and may these wonderful reds find their way into your home and into your glass this holiday season. Salud!

Happy people don’t judge

PEACE IS THE NEW CURRENCY AS WE EMBARK UPON THE PATH TO UNITY

IS REALIZED THROUGH THE JOYS OF CO-CREATING ONE’S OWN LIFE, SOVEREIGN IN DESIGN AND FREE FROM THE LIM ITATIONS OF THE REPTILIAN SLAVE MIND.

Ascending in alignment with the fire of creation from which springs all life, blessed are the ones awakened to en lighten us with their golden light.

It was the year 2016, and I had reached the height of my investment career. As an institutional marketer, I was a financial markets entertainer. I mastered the economic markets and secured meetings with leading researchers and consultants to secure large investments in my firm’s strategies. Raised in pover ty, with the instilled belief that money equated to happiness, I used my gifts to manifest the American dream; yet, I was miserable, empty, and desperate to feel anything.

As my mind grew numb with the sense less rules and regulations that fogged my divine memory, my brain waves became so low I could no longer tap into source intelligence. I yearned for the day when I would have the time to explore my God-given abilities.

Would I ever have the peace of mind to settle my racing heart from the elec tromagnetic over stimulation of tech nological society? Sometimes, I would drown myself in substances just to sleep. Something was missing. “Would my life ever stand for anything?”

By mid-2018, there was a series of layoffs. Investment sales were down across all the firm’s global regions, and I was given a forced break with a healthy severance. For the first time in 20 years, I was free to invest in my soul’s quest. With true gratitude, I shared my thanks and my heart began to open to a whole new sense of peace. I was blessed with release.

Within a week following my last day in the office, I was invited on a family trip

to India. An opportunity to revisit my Fatherland and begin to heal a long, deep wound in my heart and unravel my chakras. I had been estranged from my family for so long that even I was blind to the pain inside. Having fled the sorrows of my childhood, my financial success only further distorted my sense of happiness.

India, the primal guru of the Earth, the motherland of Spiritual teachings, was calling me home to be awakened to my purpose. Activated to my Dharma as the Earth whispered to the core of my soul, I had no idea that I would return trans formed. The term “Spiritual Rebirth” was not even a part of my vocabulary. The universe had let me drown in the gut-wrenching ways of Western capitalism only to call me home to resurrect the light embedded within the ancestral DNA that coursed through the infinite depths of my spiritual being.

From the despair of my soul’s darkness, I was risen by the universe to serve through the ever-growing peace and wisdom birthed through the boundless radiance of my spiritual heart’s realized

purpose. Realization after realization, as my mind unraveled the trappings of deception, with enhanced clarity I began to see that all I would ever need would be delivered from within me, and the ancestral teachings of all my lineages would reveal themselves through me. Mother India was the first land to bless me.

What a blessing to incarnate during the Great Awakening where the greatest challenge would be to liberate ourselves from our own conditioning, and to receive our higher selves as we embark upon the path to Peace that we create from within us.

The golden teachings re vealing humanity’s origins and evolution can never be suppressed, and, like all life, will find a way to birth them selves. How could I not love a life that birthed me to realize the love that she had for me?

As I release the aspects that no longer serve me, I am free to gracefully embody the soul teachings that flow through me. As I create to serve, my value is the spiri tual abundance which flows more bountifully the deeper I go. Ascending as a bridge

to personal inner peace, I create to embody the Ancient Teachings of the Rainbow Body. Only by facing the darkness of civilized society could I realize the spiritual abundance that is my eternal soul’s destiny. Peace is my new currency.

EMPATHY OVER SYMPATHY SERVES THE SHIFT EFFORTLESSLY

According to an October 2022 CNN and the Kaiser Family Foundation nation al survey: “Nine out of ten Americans say the country is facing a mental health crisis, and half of them say they’ve experienced a severe one in their own family.”

As my spiritual abilities began manifesting, I not only struggled to find the words to express myself, I was terri fied to tell my family. I had worked so hard for society’s approval that I chose to live in denial of my God poten tial. Rather than evolving naturally and effortlessly, I became paralyzed by the fear of becoming like my own mother, for whom I now train to liberate from the demons that have claimed her soul since before my

birth. My spiritual goal is now to see her heart glow. The mission to save those we love is what guides Angels to incarnate from up above.

To succeed in the world of materialistic ideals creates a paradigm of judging those who are actually in need of our compassion to welcome them into their most pow erful missions. Energetically holding judgment creates a blockage in perception that limits our ability to serve effectively. To judge not only blinds our eyes of life’s true beauty, but further magne tizes our interpretations to lower vibrations of sensory perceptions. To receive our missions, we must release our judgments upon those who have transgressed from their soul directives.

We are in times so highly magnetized by the ascend ing Earth frequency that it creates inner disease to act against the ancient spiritual teachings. While the spiritual heart is always pulling us ahead, the controller mind holds back instead; the mold of conformity is the greatest distraction to us embodying our divinity. It is the joy of creating in service of harmo ny that hatches us gracefully,

through the slow rapture of life force freed within our bodies. Our life’s evo lution is our determination to free the potential of our heart’s most magnificent vision.

Empathy allows us to live from the inside out, to serve from an enlightened state of gnosis, breathing in the peace of knowing that we are one with the beauty we deliver - transcendence. While feel ings of sympathy glue our attention to energies that drain us of hope, collecting negativity in our field to alter our senses. Embodying empathy allows us to be hold the world for its infinite beauty and potential, as we attract opportunities and insights to create anew with the wis dom to bridge us through our common ancient truths.

To break free, I train in surrendering to my soul’s guidance in creating my own vision of peace. Initially, the energetic split from delaying my spiritual re-birth ing process created such a profound chemical imbalance that I had to be hos pitalized in a psychiatric ward before I began authentically walking the path to claim my true self.

To truly heal, I had to build, becoming the healer empowered with the wisdom I needed to feel seen in order to support others. In order to believe, I had to ex perience the power of the creative force for myself and witness my own prophe cy coming into fruition.

Having risen from the ashes of my own despair, I now create to deliver awak

ening souls into the beauty of the New Earth as our senses awaken through the purification of our chakras by the fire that rises from within, the Cosmic Kundalini force, that lifts our souls from the negative belief system matrix. The cosmic plan to free the Earth’s children.

ANSWERING THE CALL TO SERVE THE BRILLIANCE OF TOMORROW

Albert Einstein famously said, “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reali ty you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

As creator beings, it is the emotional frequency of the spiritual truth we live by that charges our life and illuminates our holographic reality. It is the light of our souls released from within our hearts’ seeded universe that forms the perspectives through which we experi ence the joys of our lives. The untapped power stored within humanity’s blood is undoubtedly the universe’s greatest commodity. Science confirms that hu man DNA harvests the spiritual energy from our Sun, and it is this sacred force that for millenia has been fed on. As a galactic species, the true realized power of the human soul will be our greatest collective achievement as we realize our place in the universe.

As visionaries awaken to the promise of tomorrow’s potential, our greatest craft

will be expressions of self-liberation and planetary Ascension. The universe wants us to realize our greatest genius as we serve the birthing of her most brilliant vision. Keepers of the Fire of Creation, there is no limit to our realized magnif icence as we master our ability to direct cosmic energies.

Humanity is on the verge of a profound realization that requires we work to clear the pathways for divine intelli gence to flow through us as vessels of soul creation. It is the power of the future timeline we create that fuses spirit through our bones, opening our eyes to an entirely new world. Gears of the cosmic universe, eternal flowers seeded from source, we live to open our hearts so that the light of the future is free to flow. Harmoniously is how divine intel ligence grows.

SETTING GOALS & GETTING STARTED

AST MONTH, WE DIS CUSSED THE IMPOR TANCE OF BE ING MORE DELIBERATE IN THE PREPARATION PHASE OF YOUR GOAL SETTING PROCESS.

However, just because you plan more effectively, it does not guarantee success. If there is one thing I have learned about life, it is that not everything goes as planned. Life always has a way of test ing you to see if you are willing to keep going. Therefore, being able to sustain short- and long-term motivation is essential to overcoming the unplanned and to continue striving toward the finish line.

I would always let myself off the hook when it came to the pursuit of goal achievement. I was always that person that said “I will start on Monday”, but Monday would come and go like the seconds on a clock. Monday would get here, I would take no steps to begin my

goal-setting journey, so I again would tell myself “I will just start next week then.” Needless to say, it a challenge for me to even begin working toward my goals.

LThere were times when Monday came and I set my plan in motion, but it did not take much for me to quit. The longer it seemed I went, the more likely I would talk myself out what I was doing. For example, I would be on a nutrition plan for a month, but then would have the thought of “I do not care what others think of me” and then quit, even though at that time I did care what people thought me. There were times where the smallest hiccup would cause me to quit. For example, if I was on a weightlifting program and got injured, then I would completely scrap my work out program. I did not understand the difficulties and challenges related to goal achievement, so I was not prepared to handle the challenges placed before me. Being prepared is not just about what you do before you begin, but also about what to do when you hit a roadblock.

WHAT CAN YOU DO

In order to get started on your goals, you must develop a strategy that will help keep increase accountability for completing your actionable steps. One way is by creating a to-do list of your

actionable steps, which will serve as a reminder of what you need to do each and every day. For example, if I have the goal of losing weight and I know nu trition will be an important area to focus on, an actionable step on my to-do list might be to drink one gallon of water today. This process can help with shortterm motivation because oftentimes the hardest part of achieving our goals is getting started. Setting to-do lists gives you the structure of getting started with a handful of actionable steps and as you get more comfortable and into a rhythm, you can add more actionable steps to the list.

It is also important to have strategies in place to ensure you maintain moti vation throughout the process. Results are a great way to maintain motivation, but results are not always there. For example, there may be external factors outside of your control that inhibit your progress, which can throw you off your path or even cause you to give up completely. Life does not always go as planned, however, that does not mean you need to give up.

Two ways to help you maintain longterm motivation is by staging your envi ronment and creating contingency plans for when things do not go as planned. First, staging your environment pro

vides a constant reminder to what you are striving for. So, when you want to give up, or when life throws you a curve ball, having that reminder can be the difference in you giving up or you continuing to push forward. For exam ple, you can print your goal on a piece of paper and tape it to your front door, your refrigerator, or your bath room mirror, or even having your goal as the background on your phone. The constant reminder keeps your goal at the forefront of your brain. Second, you can have a con tingency plan for when things go wrong. For example, if you have a fitness related goal but you get injured along the way, having the plan of

focusing on stretching, or even your mental health are alternative ways to keep you on track towards completing your goal. It may not be at the pace that you like, but any progress forward is better than no progress or giving up.

Lastly, it is important to check in on your progress throughout your journey. These “checkpoints” can provide important infor mation related to your goal. One, check-ins allow you to see what you are doing well. This can be motivational in itself by showing you that the work you are putting in is paying off. This also provides you with an op portunity to celebrate your

current progress, celebrate your hard work because you deserve it! Two, check-ins allow you to see what you can improve upon. You may find that your actionable steps are easier than you thought, so you can adjust them to make them more challeng ing; you may find that your actionable steps are more difficult than you thought, so you can adjust them to make them easier, but not too easy. You get to decide how often you check in on your goals, weather you check in every week, every couple of weeks, every month, as long as you put a reminder down to make sure you check in at various times throughout your goal setting journey.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Goals are difficult to achieve because they challenge you in many ways. Whether that be deciding what you want, how to go about achieving what you want, getting started, or seeing it through to the end. Goals are difficult to achieve, but when you do, the feeling can be extremely gratifying. At the end of the day, the only thing stopping you from achieving your goals is you. Fight the battle within by creating a solid plan towards achieving your goals, and by having strategies in place to get you started and keep you going to make sure that you achieve what you want to achieve.

LIFE COACHING

AND EXPERT WELLNESS EXERCISES

THE GOD COMPLEX

EING HU MAN HAS PROVED TO BEING THE MOST IN TERESTING AND NUANCED EXPERIENCE WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH IN LIFE. THE FUNNY PART, IT’S NOT LIKE WE HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO COMPARE IT WITH, ALL WE KNOW AND ALL WE’VE EVER KNOWN IS THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING HUMAN.

Are we just merely human though? Is there anymore?

We have consistently tried to explain our life experience with the ideas of a spirit, soul, or science. Understanding that the consciousnesses makes us feel more self-aware than does this body in which we find ourselves housed. Religion and spirituality have created

the rules for how we are supposed to be “human” in relationship to what was before birth or after death. This is where we are presented with a slew of issues. Who is right? Is anyone even close to the truth about our experience here on earth and is there anything else?

BWhether or not there is, one thing we struggle with is being in the position of being creators here on earth. The fact that we create life, create machines, cre ate cities, and create relationships puts us in what baseball would call “a pickle.” We find we are constantly fighting our own personal desires to be creative Gods along with understanding that our life is finite, and aging is throwing in our faces on a daily basis that we are mortal. With the power we are able to harness, it makes us question if we have the ability, in some way, to be Gods.

I like to think of us a little “g” gods. We all feel more than just our bodies. Emotions, intuitions, connections, allow us to have a level of self-evidence that runs deeper than our physical form. This also presents a real problem for us. As we become more intelligent it leads us to believe that our entire

existence is based upon us and us alone. Our ability to now change our gender, create life, judge actions and agreeably take life makes us inevitably believe that we are the executioner, judge and jury of life. We consume ourselves with our creations. Our cell phones, our technology, and our desire to feel bigger than we are is the nuance of the human condition. We are the totality of what we can see and to see it is to truly “believe” it. Science has proven to be an incredible asset in this endeavor, but the more we lean into science the easier it is to neglect our innate intuitions. I believe living into our own desires has taken us further and further away from the self-actualization that we are gods. Equally, gods. I believe God, the creator, the universe, energy, whatever you want to call it, has imparted a piece of itself into each one of us.

God is everything and we are here on earth acting out little versions of god in living life. It’s almost as if God has infinite personalities and we are acting out all of Gods different angles of life. The hard part of that, is still being humble to attach our growth and our ascension to the creator. Innately, we

VOLUME VI / ISSUE VI / NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2022 page 186

have the desire to just thank ourselves and appreciate our selves in our human form. It is this understanding of how huge we truly are that is the consciousness of God in my opinion.

We are complex gods with a God complex. We are not the ultimate creator, every thing was here preceding our existence, but we can create in the same patterns as God. The conundrum of being created but being able to create in a world that was

established before us, but is enhanced with us is, a head ache of understanding.

I believe we need to lean into what we are able to do. Don t rule anything out, believe we are little “g” gods and carry on as such. With much power comes much respon sibility and a big part of the problem is that we may think ourselves one way but do not treat each other the same.

If I’m a god here because the best parts of me are in es

sence God, then when I look at you, I have to understand that same reality. We are no better than one another and the only difference in our paths is us our understand ing. Judgment is not for us and the leading tool we need to be using is love. That’s the true God that is within us, it is the ability to give uncondi tional love. The closer we get to that belief and the more we start to act in that energy, the more we will consciously connect as the collective.

Our true power is in the collection of all of our love and all of our gifts! So, take some time to understand what you really are, what is inside of you, that love and positivity you ignore because of your trauma. The love and positively your ignore be cause you’re busy. Smell the roses, say hello, be pleasant, you never know how much someone needed to feel the connection to God through you!
