Life beginsatHalcyon
summer 2015
On yer bike The spirit of adventure is alive and well with a group of Halcyon home owners cycling the picturesque Otago Trail The intrepid cyclists including Halcyon staff member Tracy Royal, descended on Queenstown before setting out on their 150km journey from Clyde to Middlemarch. The route followed the old Maniototo rail line and culminated with one of the world’s great train trips on the spectacular Taieri Gorge railway into Dunedin. Along the trail the group took a step back in time to New Zealand’s rural past, cycling through spectacular scenery, sampling first-class produce from road stalls and wineries while creating lasting friendships and memories for life.
