Doing so, a rusty Dinosaur from Portugal is meeting with Coca-Cola umbrellas from the States. One can take a ride with a caroussel from Singapour or look at a fountain from Thai. The project was built as an exhibition for Sharjah Biennale and stays there for a longer time.
TAMMSAARE PARK
CONCEPTUAL PLAN FOR THE HISTORICAL PARK
Location: Tallinn, est area: 30 000 m2 Competition, 2012 with: Anders Terp, Mari-Liis M채nnik
The project is finding a solution for nowadays needs to the city park. The concept is based on the historical tree canopies that guide the placing of points of interests. Reversing the central spot from a paved sqaure to a green circle, benefits the overall idea.
The park becomes more a staying rather than a passing by space. Three new areas occur with clear characteristics: market with cafe and integrated theatre realm; central park feeling with more green spaces and an area for concerts and other cultural events.

SOFTENING THE BORDERS MASTERPLAN FOR REFSHALEĂ˜EN Location: refshaløen, dk area: 7 ha study project, 2010 with: janka paulovics
The existing strong vertical lines and hard materials are characterised by formlessness of nature. The site goes through a natural transformation and at the same time becomes a productive landscape.
Adapting landscape urbanism as a main tool. Introducing urban farming, local food and markets, new urban ecosystems and buildings with new sustainable functions
The aim is to transform the urban fabric and its surrounding into a dynamic system and to change the scale of the area from large-scale to a more humanized environment. For that the transformation will go through 3 different states:
REHABILITATION of the site Plants are used for bio-cleansing of land in preparation of farming. Urban fabric starts to integrate with nature.
CULTIVATION of urban fabric. Nature continues growing. Urban agriculture as a secondary process starts settling both inside and outside the buildings. Buildings provide the facilities to maintain them. Therefore these lands are placed around the urban fabric. HARMONY in between natural ecologies, buildings and infrastructure. Ecological corridors, natural habitats starts settling. Urban agriculture is spread out. Urban fabric has being taken over by nature.
