’ BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: 22 UTICA STREET CAFE When faced with ordering a slice of decadent peanut butter chocolate waterfall cake or enjoying delicious low fat yogurt with fresh fruit – you will have to decide if you are a sinner or a saint that day at the 22 Utica St. Café in Hamilton. The former Hamilton Firehouse has remained a strong and kind reminder of how community places help bring people together and shape our lives. With such a vibrant and diverse community in Hamilton, the remodeled Firehouse, now a thriving café, appeals to everyone of all ages and offers a variety of unique coffee and teas, pastries, cakes, soups, panninis, salads, and a full breakfast menu. An urban feel is created in the Café with eclectic murals and music coupled with overstuffed comfy chairs and sofas. Outdoor seating is available during warmer weather. The Café is the place to visit if you are craving homemade soup. You can choose from the eight available daily. This past year, they introduced a full breakfast menu including buttermilk pancakes, half pound angus burgers and chicken wings. As usual, “22” does it with style. Their breakfast menu includes pancakes, waffles, omelets, homemade country style home fries and corned beef hash. Their burgers are dressed with fresh healthy toppings and homemade sauces. Their jumbo fresh chicken wings in seven different flavors—two of which were created by using feedback from the local community—have become a daily craving for many.
4 | HAMILTON HIGHLIGHTS
The Café offers 20 different fresh fruit smoothies. Now available is a “Green Tiger” made with spinach, yogurt, mangos, and pineapple – providing a daily energy boost and an abundance of nutrients. There is no shortage of decadent truffles and other sinful delights. A favorite is the Toll House Cookie Pie and Reese’s Peanut Butter pie—both are Hamilton community favorites! 22 Utica St. Café has become a haven for students looking to meet over coffee while surfing the web, local professionals grabbing a quick bite for lunch, friends meeting for breakfast and families wanting a special treat. Night owls will enjoy our late night menu, served Friday and Saturday nights until 3am. We offer delivery, catering, gift baskets and care packages, perfect for any occasion. We hope to see you soon so you can decide if you are a “sinner or a saint” at 22 Utica St. Café.
