The Hole Story The effective use of holes and cutouts An Inspirational Knitting Workshop Since my very first book I’ve been fascinated with holes in knitted fabric... They are fun to knit and placed strategically can add great structural interest to any garment.

During this workshop you will be able to examine firsthand many of the garments I have designed using different hole and cutout techniques.

You will have time to swatch different hole ideas or start on the free scarf pattern provided!. A basic understanding of knit and purl is all you need to know.

Workshop length: 3 hours/half day.

Materials needed: Bring along yarns from your stash that you think are interesting... could be novelty or selfstriping to try out the techniques with.

Sample garments and swatches will be at the workshop.

Cost to shop: $350 for workshop for up to 7 participants. $40 per person for additional participants.

Trip costs:

Up to 300 dollars for airfare. $10 per hour for driving in my own car.

100 dollars toward hotel if applicable.

Shop is responsible for local transportation.
