Detoxing for Optimal Health

Have you tried a detox or cleanse? 11 years ago, a friend wanted me to look into cleanses and detoxing. My first thought was that your body is supposed to cleanse itself and doing a detox program sounded extreme. After much research, I realize that our bodies can benefit from a healthful detoxification process. Your body is combating stresses and toxins from poor food choices and the environment on a daily basis. Effective cleansing gives your body a chance to eliminate toxic load so it can begin to heal itself from the inside.
Why detox?
Toxins are everywhere in our world from cleaning and beauty products to pesticide, plastics and air we breathe. Even though our bodies are designed to detox naturally there can be a build up due to the constant amount of toxins we are exposed to. With the gradual build up of toxins come imbalances in the body.
Here are signs that your body isn’t functioning properly from too much toxic load and it’s time for a purposeful detox:
• Digestive distress such as IBS, acid reflux, constipation, indigestion, or food allergies/intolerances • Belly bloat or excess weight • Headaches • Skin problems • Poor sleep and fatigue • Mood swings, anxiety, or depression • Emotional eating • Hormonal imbalances

Warmer weather and sunshine steer us outdoors with all sorts of activities and fun. With that in mind - one can almost never have enough sunscreen on! SWIM LESSONS
Stefan has been teaching swimming lessons for a total of 30 years and has been instructing here at Hampton Hall since November of 2005. His swim school is nationally recognized by the United States Swim School Association (USSSA) and the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA). In addition to WSI Stefan Bauroth holds a bachelor’s degree in Childhood/Elementary Education, a Masters in Special Education, as well as a Masters in School Administration.
Stefan’s swim lesson programs are designed to help both beginners, as well as more advanced swimmers meet their individual goals in the water. He works with ages 6 months to adult.
