ave you tried a detox or cleanse? 11 years ago, a friend wanted me to look into cleanses and detoxing. My first thought was that your body is supposed to cleanse itself and doing a detox program sounded extreme. After much research, I realize that our bodies can benefit from a healthful detoxification process. Your body is combating stresses and toxins from poor food choices and the environment on a daily basis. Effective cleansing gives your body a chance to eliminate toxic load so it can begin to heal itself from the inside.

Why detox? Toxins are everywhere in our world from cleaning and beauty products to pesticide, plastics and air we breathe. Even though our bodies are designed to detox naturally there can be a build up due to the constant amount of toxins we are exposed to.
