We love food at Handmade. Our Gourmet Food Hall has grown significantly over the years and now offers a curated selection of the best in Australian fresh food, street food, drinks and pantry items. The June Market will take place at EPIC on 29 & 30 June. As Winter sets in, we will be celebrating our festival of food and also presenting 270 stalls, including gifts, fashion, art, jewellery, homewares and children’s treasures. Throughout the themed pages of this magazine, we will be showcasing some of the designers and producers who are attending the June Market. Many of them have chosen only to come to Handmade in Canberra, and this exclusivity is noted with our little icon. Start your list now, as we know there are many beautiful products you won’t want to miss. With over fifty new designers and producers, we’re excited to offer you a mix of established favourites and innovative newcomers so there will be something for everyone. Our directory of designers and producers can also be found within these pages, listing all of the many June stallholders. And if you want to read more, head to our blog with its news stories, our social media pages and our online directory, where you can browse by category. www.handmadecanberra.com.au Thank you for supporting Australian small business and we’ll see you at the market!

our march market
We celebrated all things Canberra at the March Handmade Market. And the Canberra crowds joined us with all the usual enthusiasm. As ever, the atmosphere was warm and friendly and the stalls overflowed with beautiful designs and tasty produce. We are constantly delighted by the standard of style, design, workmanship and displays in the gifts, homewares and fashion halls. And contantly seduced by the scents and tastes in our Gourmet Food Hall. We can’t wait to do it all over again in June. 5

Australia has been on the world food map for a while now, and with good reason. Our varied climate allows innovative producers to grow, cure, brew, ferment and enhance the very best ingedients. We love to welcome so many of them to our food hall each market and as warming food is in season, we’re celebrating the cool climate in style.
