Project Overview The Iris Hotel is located in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. This space represents the life and energy that fills the city of Boston. With organic lines and bright primary colors The Iris is full of movement and flow. To contridict that we also created spaces for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, creating rooms with serene cool colors and comforting materials.

Sustainability Sustainability plays a key role in the design of The Iris Hotel. Being in a large city, keeping the building as efficent as possible was extremely important when determining construction, finishes, and after build solutions.

Shakespeare
Van Gogh
William Shakespeare was a late 16th and 17th century play write. He wrote plays with lots of different themes including nature, love, and tragedy. Shakespeare was the main contributor to the globe theatre, a main influence to our design.
Vincent Van Gogh, a post impressionist painter, is a huge name in art. He uses natural motifs, quick dashed lines, and primary colors in his art. With more than 2,100 pieces painted Van Gogh’s work can be seen in the Louvre and the Museum of Modern Art.
