QUINTESSENTIALLY FOUNDATION

Making a Difference Quintessentially Foundation will be supporting Greenhouse and Place 2 Be this year through the Venice to Rome Bike Ride and the Annual Poker Night. The money raised through this partnership will provide essential support to children aged 4- 18 in North West London by helping them to overcome the challenges they face and fulfil their potential. The work of both Greenhouse and Place2Be crucially improves the health and wellbeing of children, ensuring they have the best opportunities to learn and achieve academically. Through fundraising for these charities, Quintessentially Foundation will be directly supporting thousands of children, in some of the most difficult of circumstances, to overcome their negative influences, problems and anxieties, to prevent them from entering into a downward spiral of low achievement and aspirations, and to enable them to grow up to be the adults they have a right to be.

Place2Be provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools, building children's resilience through talking, creative work and play. They currently reach 75,000 children, helping them to cope with wide-ranging and often complex social issues including bullying, bereavement, domestic violence, family breakdown, neglect and trauma.

Cost Examples £6 will help Place2Be to provide a chance for any child to talk to a counsellor about their worries or fears

£10 will help a child to get the one on one support they need to improve their behaviour, their relationships and their chance to make the most of their education

£20 will help to pay for a parent to receive one hour of vital counselling Around £13,000 will help to fund a whole Place2Be school project and help to provide support for almost 600 pupils and their families
