VISION

Building C of the TIR site will become “EXTRA”, a building where flexibility, multi-functionality and reuse play a central role. We searched for a way to do as much on site as possible, using materials from the existing building. All of this we seeked to organise in an effective and sustainable way. Only the two upper floor levels will be adapted to become of public use. In this way the building can keep its logistical function on level zero and one. This creates a division between the street

level, where trucks and cars still have accessibility to the building, and the viaduct level. On the second level the viaduct creates a second ground floor, open only to people by foot or by bike.
