In order to connect the new residential area and park of Thurn and Taxis to its surroundings a new road is layed out right next to the renovated TIR building C, EXTRA. This road will serve soft mobility. To make space for the new passage a part of the viaduct will be broken down. At the intersection of the old and the new road the

access for EXTRA will be placed. This forms the main intervention to make the building publicly accessible EXTRA has three public squares: one on groundlevel, one on the viaduct and one enclosed inside the building. EXTRA is located near the canal, the thurn and taxis site and other new places such as greenbizz and be.here Its surroundings make it a future hotspot near the city centre.
