THANK YOU WORKFORCE SPONSORS

Renewal Season is Upon Us at the Chamber

The beginning of the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce's new fiscal year is fast approaching. For many of our members, this means it is time to renew your membership and review options for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, which begins September 1, 2024.

Renewal season can open up a wide variety of opportunities for members. Each membership level with the Chamber is associated with different types of opportunities for involvement. For example, did you know that at the Chamber Partner level, you are eligible for a customized marketing package tailored to your organization's needs? Or that at the Business level, you have the ability to host and promote a complimentary Ribbon Cutting ceremony?

2024-2025 will offer options such as Chamber event sponsorships, community event sponsorships, and avenues for marketing and promotions. We also offer ways to be involved with programs such as workforce development efforts and Leadership Hanover. Discover Hanover, the Chamber's tourism brand, will also have new channels of advertising to explore.

All offerings to our Chamber members can be found in our Membership Benefits & Opportunities packet. This packet is updated annually and serves as

the best resource for knowing what you have access to as a Chamber member. This can be found at https://www. hanoverchamber.com/member-benefits

If your organization's renewal period does not fall around the beginning of the fiscal year, we still urge you to review the new Membership Benefits & Opportunities packet to stay informed on the new and current means of getting involved with the Chamber.

To schedule a meeting concerning your renewal and to learn more, contact our Member & Community Relations Manager, Jake. He can be reached at jtaylor@hanoverchamber.com or 717637-6130 ext. 102.

Hanover is a close-knit community that cares about each other and it’s future. I’ve seen first hand the relationships built between our educators and businesses to provide students the skills and experience to successfully transition to the workforce.

State’s Permitting Process Reformed Under Newly Enacted Budget

Pennsylvania's fiscal year 2024-2025 budget includes reforms to reduce regulatory delays, backed by State Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill.

The budget, signed by Gov. Josh Shapiro, overhauls the permitting process for land, air, and water permits required by the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and county conservation districts. These reforms, influenced by Senate Bill 350, aim to make Pennsylvania more business-friendly by expediting permit reviews through third-party entities and implementing an online Permit Application Tracking System.

The DEP will also be accountable for costs incurred by applicants if permit decisions are delayed. Phillips-Hill emphasized that these changes support economic growth and job creation in the state.

“Growing our economy, creating new jobs, and putting Pennsylvania on a path to prosperity is not partisan, it’s common sense,” said Phillips-Hill. “I am glad we were able to get this across the finish line.”

President of the Hanover Chamber, Sarah Messer, stated the following: " "The Hanover Chamber is pleased to see the state's permitting process reformed under the newly enacted budget. We are grateful for Senator Phillips-Hill's commitment to these changes, addressing issues that our local developers have been voicing for quite some time. These reforms will streamline development and foster economic growth in the Hanover community."

In a recent press release, Olivia's House: A Grief and Loss Center for Children Announced that they have been recognized in the 45th Annual Telly Awards.

"[Olivia's House's] “20 Years of Healing Hearts” video has been named a winner in the non-broadcast not-for-profit category of the record breaking 45th Annual Telly Awards.

The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, and production companies. This year’s winners include Adobe, Calvin Klein, ESPN, LinkedIn, MTV Entertainment Studios, NASA, and more.

Premiering at the Annual Olivian Gala in 2022, the award-winning video was produced to celebrate the

July 1, 2024: For the sixth consecutive year, TREYSTA technology management has been named as one of the world’s topperforming managed service providers in the prestigious 2024 Channel Futures MSP 501 rankings. The Channel Futures MSP 501 list, a technology industry benchmark, ranks companies based on their growth, profitability and innovation.

For the past 17 years, managed service providers around the globe have submitted applications for inclusion on this prestigious and definitive listing. It is a milestone achievement for any managed services organization to be included on the list. The Channel Futures MSP 501 survey uses a quantitative methodology to rank companies based on their annual revenue, profitability measured by EBITDA, and recurring revenue. The methodology has been developed by a Who’s-Who in the managed services industry.

MSPs that qualify for the list must also pass a rigorous review conducted by the Channel Futures research team and editors. Channel Futures ranks applicants using a unique methodology that weighs financial performance according to long-term health and viability, commitment to recurring revenue and operational efficiency.

Channel Futures is pleased to name TREYSTA technology management to the 2024 MSP 501.

“TREYSTA is thrilled to be recognized as a top MSP once again,” said John George, President of TREYSTA. “Our amazing Team continues to be committed to each other and the success of our clients. This award recognizes our passion for providing fantastic service to our clients!”

This year’s list is one of the most competitive in the survey’s history. Winners will be recognized on the Channel Futures website and honored during a special ceremony at MSP Summit, Sept 16-19, 2024 in Atlanta, GA.

The MSP 501 represents the best in the technology services industry delivering outstanding vendor and platform neutral advice and value to small, midsized and enterprise customers. This year, the MSP 501 generated aggregate revenue of nearly $25 billion with average growth or recurring revenue of 19%. These are truly the best of the best. Many of their services and technology offerings focus on customer needs in the areas of AI, cloud, security, collaboration, networking, help desk and remote monitoring and management.

The Channel Futures MSP 501 is responsible for keeping their global customers safe, connected and efficient.

“The 2024 Channel Futures MSP 501 winners survived a challenging market and emerged as the highest performing and most innovative IT providers in the industry today,” said Dave Raffo, MSP editor and MSP 501 project manager. “The most impressive thing about the MSP 501 winners is they deliver for their customers every day. These

are the most innovative, driven, and successful MSPs in a fiercely competitive industry.”

“For a managed service provider to attain a spot on the Channel Futures MSP 501 everything must be operating at peak performance. This list represents the most productive, profitable, fastest-growing, organizations in the technology industry focused on driving their customers to new heights.” said Bob DeMarzo, VP Content, Informa Channels.

“These are the best of the best in the managed services industry as defined by Channel Futures’ extensive research. The MSP 501 companies are the most sought after by peers who want to understand today’s best practices and by technology suppliers who want to partner with these organizations,” DeMarzo stated. “At their core, these are vendor and platform neutral partners focused on doing what is right for their customers.”

The Channel Futures media organization, owned and operated by Informa, is the only channel-centric events, media and research company that can provide such insight into the managed services market.
