THANK YOU WORKFORCE SPONSORS

The 2nd Annual Workforce Summit Happening November 13, 2024

The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce is delighted to be hosting the 2024 Workforce Summit on Wednesday, November 13th. The Workforce Summit will be held at Ballroom on Broadway at the Markets at Hanover from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Last year's Workforce Summit was highly attended and we are excited to bring this event back for a second year.

The Workforce Summit will feature a panel of local industry and education experts who will share their experiences about building a talent pipeline of workers, creating an employer-led collaborative to address specific workforce needs, and developing programs that enable people to learn new skills while gaining experience on the job.

Last year, the Workforce Summit featured opening remarks from Jamie

Francis of the U.S. Chamber, followed by groups of panelists that shared their expertise throughout the day. Some of these topics included bridging the generational gap, integrating technology into the workforce, and an employer resource panel. We are excited to unveil which topics will be covered and whick speakers will be joining us in 2024. Stay tuned and keep an eye on our social media accounts and weekly e-mails for more information.

There are sponsorship and tabling opportunities available for this event!

A Successul 1st Annual Snack Town Fall Fest

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the 1st Annual Snack Town Fall Fest a huge success. This was the first Fall Fest under the Snack Town brand and attendance and support far exceeded expectations. It was amazing to see the community come together and join us for fall fun, including Rocky 98.5's Battle of the Bands, a variety of vendors and great food and drinks.

Congratulations to the Heads or Tails Experience for taking home first prize at the 20th Annual Battle of the Bands. And congratulatios to the Rust Hounds for taking home 2nd place and the Colin Alvarez Band for taking home third. These three bands were selected from a pool of submissions to play on the day of Fall Fest and each band put on a great performance. Thank you Iron Lion for sponsoring the prizes for the bands.

And as always, thank you to our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, live musical performers, attendees, and staff for their hard work and support. Special thanks to our presenting sponsors Campbell's, Iron Lion, and UTZ, as well as our Community Access Sponsor, Brightspeed. We would also like to thank our Entertainment Sponsors, KLK Welding and J.A. Myer's, our Kids' Zone Sponsors, Camping World, David Ross
