When did the terminology ‘brand’ start to effect our decision making as consumers and why? The introduction of retailer’s own brands Research into brandographics Does packaging play a role in our decision making? Find a case study and a specific sector to focus on.
Research Methods Primary
Observe people shopping, what do they chose. Look at the percentage of own brand against branded products available in the shops. Compare packaging between own brand and branded products. Make a survey to find out how big a percentage of people chose branded products.

Primary research into the packaging aspect as to whether there is an obvious difference in appearance and quality by visiting shops . I want to find out how big a role the packaging and the visual branding of a product plays for the consumer.
