Happy Munkey Is Minting NFTs

In the last month unless you have been living under a rock you have probably heard the word NFT being thrown around. For those of you who have stayed out of the crypto loop, an NFT or “non-fungible token” is simply a virtual proof of ownership of a digital good backed up by blockchain technology. And at this very moment, the crypto world is exploding from insane news of NFTs selling at astronomical prices from the digital artist Beeple selling his “The First 5000 Days” for a record-breaking 69 million dollars as an NFT, and athletes like Tom Brady selling NFT trading cards for millions. The world is abuzz about if the NFT news speaks to a bubble ready to burst or a rising industry in its infancy. Regardless of the answer, it is clear that NFTs are revolutionizing the way we interact with digital art.

The day of the digital artist is here and Happy Munkey is all the way here for it! We at Happy Munkey do not claim to be crypto specialists, but seeing the application and opportunity for community building in the NFT space, Happy Munkey dove right in and like usual became one of the first cannabis companies in the world to mint their very own NFTs! At the moment we have four original Happy Munkey animations available on Rarible & OpenSea, two of the industry leading NFT marketplaces in the space, and have plans to launch more throughout the year!
