SPRING MARKET Wrap Up As spring ends, we welcome summer and a few warmer, drier days ahead. The spring madness of real estate lived up to the hype this year with higher turnover and record prices across the continent. The unseasonably cold and wet conditions in early spring possibly kept some available properties from coming to market with the end of spring seeing a surge in available properties come to market. We have seen a slight decrease in buyer demand to finish spring, this has been driven by more available properties for sale and a bit of buyer fatigue as buyers taking a back step due to the strong prices and demand received over the past 12-18 months. Over summer, we predict prices will stabilise and the growth we’ve seen lately will dissipate coming into early next year. We are then anticipating a strong demand come end of January onwards, driven by interstate buyers allowed to travel back here and migration numbers starting to increase. - Sam Oborn
