I am honoured to be given this opportunity to say a few words in this Veterans World Cup Hockey souvenir magazine.
This magazine showcases some of the legends in Malaysian Hockey who have represented Malaysia domestically at the highest levels and in the Olympics and World Cup.
I am elated to be associated with these Veterans who still spew energy on the field. My appointment as the Manager of this Team personally means a great deal as I have been always an advocate for sports and love sports generally and I am glad to be occasionally playing hockey with these veterans at the RSC club.
I see this 65 and above category veterans who are actively committed and participating at the highest level as an impetus to all seniors.
It is been said that “Age is No Barrier its a Limitation we put in our minds” and this team of which i am the proud Manager is the epitome of this quote that Age is not a barrier.
I wish these exemplary Veterans all the Best in this World Cup and i am certain we will go in fighting to the best of our ability.
