Located at 1329 S Ranch Road 783, Harper TX, this destination hat shop and studio, where she designs, manufactures and sells her hats, will feature a Steampunk/Neo-Victorian ambiance. Opening Saturdays in July 2014, until Lucky Day Hats' Grand opening on September 27 th, after which the hours will be extended. Ongoing events will include Mad Hatter Tea parties, costume and sewing workshops and more! A graduate of Seattle Central Community College's Apparel Design program, Rischa Leinweber has almost 20 years of cut and sew product design experience and established Lucky Day Hats in 2009 as an internet business, after working for many years in the Seattle area. ###

1st Annual Headwaters for Heroes “Heroes on Horseback” September 12-14, 2014 Located on the Lyndon B. Johnson Ranch outside of Stonewall, Texas. Hosted by the LBJ family, the Lyndon B. Johnson National Park, and Headwaters for Heroes Come out and join us for horseback riding, food, and entertainment! Wounded warriors and multiple-deployment soldiers and families are invited to attend. Accommodations, all meals, and horses are provided. The event will include a private tour of the LBJ show barn and museum located on the property, as well as a guide along the ride providing information on the family and ranch. All ages welcome, no riding experience necessary. Schedule of Events Friday 

5-7 p.m. Arrive at Stonewall Motel for check-in, escort out to ranch

8 p.m. Entertainment provided

Saturday 

If the youth decide on a program, it will begin at 4 PM; the meal will be served at 6 PM; and the regular Brush Arbor service will be at 7 PM. Monday evening, the service will begin at 6 PM, followed by the refreshments. St. James Choir will start practicing and singing in September. We will rehearse on two Wednesday evenings starting at 6:00 p.m. each month, and sing on the Sunday after the second rehearsal. The schedule is very date-specific, so please note these dates on your calendars: Rehearse September 10th and 17th, and sing on September 21st. Rehearse October 15th and 22nd and sing on October 26th. Rehearse November 5th and 12th and sing on November 16th. We also have lots of opening for solos, duets and other special vocal and/or instrumental music!
