Worms eye shot • A worms eye shot is used to indicate a characters fear or vulnerability. It can also be used to show a characters/objects High or low status.


Birds eye view • Can used to create a wider screen shot for the audience showing a dynamic and interesting action shot, used in films to sum up an overall emotion of a clip


Extreme close up • an be used to show a persons emotions, used in film to show tension within a character. Can make a character seem isolated and alone.


Long shot • long shot- is usually used to show a wide vision of a landscape or a group of characters, used to establish a memorable scene which is about to appear or just has appeared. This image is featured from the film “the secret life of Walter Mitty” which is an effective shot as it builds tension up before the eruption.


Close ups • Close ups can be used to highlight and show characters hidden or inner feelings. Usually used to present terror or fear for instance the Joker from batman.


Low angle shots • Low angle shots: can be used usually to show a characters high status making them look important and own power.


Over the shoulder • over the shoulder, is used to show a characters volubility . This shot usually covers up a characters facial expression making the character seem isolated.


High angle shots • high angle shots, presents a characters volubility making them seem insignificant.


Tilt shots • Tilt shots are used in film to create confusion and disorientation or to represent a disillusion
