AsthefirstBritishAsiancrimewritertochairtheFestival,Ican’t helpbutthinkofhowcrimefictionhasledthechargeinembracinginclusivityinpublishing; andweseethisinthewonderfullybroadchurchtheFestivalnowrepresents.Thisyear we’vepulledoutallthestops:bignames,hugedebuts,crimewritersfromallovertheworld riskinglifeandlimbtoentertainyou.Noneofthiscouldhappenwithoutaprogramming teamsofrighteninglyefficienttheycoulddoubleupasagangofNinjaassassins...Frankly, ifyoulovecrimefiction,thenHarrogateistheonlyplacetobethisJuly.Don’tmakeme sendthelionsafteryou.

Well,ifyoutakealookatwhowasaroundthetableatthe�me,it’s probablynosurprise…ValMcDermid,JaneGregory,MariaRejtand JaneBradish-Ellamesforstarters.Theminutesforthismee�ngread likeanac�onpackedto-dolistoffamouscelebrityfriends,prac�cal sugges�onsandaclearvisionfortheFes�valinthefuture.
