1. What type of shower am I looking for?

Mixer

If style and design are important to you, choose from our ‘Designed around you’ range (pages 16 to 33). Alternatively, if you’re looking for showering for all the family, choose any shower from (pages 34 to 67). Finally, if you want a beautifully simple model, choose from our ‘Day to day’ range (pages 68 to 81).

2. Is it compatible with my water system? Most of our showers are compatible with both high and low pressure systems.

Mixer showers take water from both the hot and cold water supplies and blend the water to reach the desired temperature. Ideal for homes with a plentiful supply of hot water. On gravity systems, a pump can be added to boost the performance.

Electric Electric showers only take water from the mains cold water supply. When you have a shower, you don’t use up any stored hot water – so electric showers are ideal for families and households where there is a limited supply of hot water.

UV Universal Universal fittings are exclusive to the Mira Magna range and allow connection either through the ceiling or through the wall. They come with an adjustable showerhead, as well as a slide bar and clamp bracket.

EV Exposed Variable The shower control is mounted on the wall, and your shower comes with a showerhead, hose, clamp bracket and slide bar. Some models are available with a soap dish.

BIV Built-In Variable The shower control is built in to the wall, creating a smart, clean finish. The shower comes with a showerhead, hose, right-angled hose connector, clamp bracket and slide bar. Some models are available with a soap dish.

BIR Built-In Rigid The controls and the showerhead are both built in to the wall. With no hose or slide bar, it gives you a stylish minimalist look.

EX Exposed Fixed The shower controls and the showerhead are both mounted on the wall. Mira Mode is a good example of ‘EX’ fittings.
