We are honored to welcome Captain Paul E. Mawn US Navy (retired) as our featured speaker for our Military Appreciation Lecture series event. Captain Mawn’s presentation of “Oil & War” will focus on the varied impact of oil on the military activities of Germany, Japan and the USA during World War II. The critical lessons learned regarding petroleum and military strategy have particular relevance today.

Captain Paul E. Mawn US Navy (Ret.) grew up in Lynn, MA and was commissioned as a Navy ensign via NROTC after graduating cum laude in Geology from Harvard College. For many years and currently, he also serves as the Chairman of the Advocates for Harvard ROTC.
