What is the most popular treatment at your spa & what makes this treatment outstanding?

Dreamworks Spa is known for the Asian-inspired spa treatments. The most popular among the services is the Indonesian wellness remedy – the Traditional Balinese Massage. It is a deep-tissue massage that combines acupressure and reflexology with the use of aromatherapy oil. Our training center in Bali produces skilled expert masseuse that not only knows by heart the island’s old-age techniques but naturally exudes the warm and accommodating Asian hospitality as well.

Which measures did you take to ensure customers feel confident to return to the spa during the challenging times brought about by the covid pandemic?

We take our responsibility to ensuring the safety of our guests and staff very seriously. All our branches undergo complete sanitization before and after every treatment. We follow the health and safety protocols with due diligence. And since the reopening up to the present day, our team practices and strictly enforces the guidelines. At the time of this report, over 80% of our staff have been vaccinated. PCR tests are done by who are not qualified for the vaccination due to health conditions, every 14 days as per DHA requirements.

Do you run promotional activities from time to time to keep your customers excited about your offerings and to encourage them to return soon?

At Dreamworks Spa, running promotional activities from time to time is not the only thing that keeps our customers coming back. But our enthusiasm for developing spa & wellness solutions drives more engagement. We continuously evolve. We are in constant search of premium skincare products that we feel our customers will love. We introduce holistic approaches to our services to stay on-trend. And we embrace and find new ways to connect with them.

How do you as manager keep your employees motivated to ensure award winning service is always delivered?

I have been in the business for over two decades now. And from my experience, catering to my team’s wellbeing works best in motivating them, apart from educating and training them regularly. We are in the wellness industry, and I, as a manager, believe that we need to find balance in our work and personal life as well.

What do you think sets your spa apart from others in your area?

Our philosophy revolves around the statement: Dreamworks Spa is more than just wellbeing – it is indeed a vacation of the mind, body, & soul. As soon as our guest steps in our door, they would already experience the best of Asian hospitality. Our treatments are deeply rooted in the ancient techniques, which provide healing and relaxation. We integrate this with the latest developments to ensure that we stay relevant in the market. All these are what makes us stand out from the rest of our competitors.

Which facilities can guests use at the spa after a treatment to relax and unwind?

In some of our branches, we have relaxation lounges and wet areas like steam room, jacuzzi, and sauna which are subject to availability.

What unique selling point do you have to attract new clients that might be interested to therapy?

Dreamworks Spa is a trusted brand in the spa and wellness industry. We are the largest, multi-award- winning, independent spa chain in the United Arab Emirates, with over 20 branches, operating since 2007.
