Since Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory and not a state, its government has additional flexibility when creating innovative laws.
Act 60 provides several tax incentives to attract new residents and businesses to Puerto Rico. Qualified businesses can benefit from a 100% tax exemption on
distributions from earnings and profits, a 75% to 100% tax exemption on municipal and state property taxes, a 50% tax exemption on municipal taxes, among others tax benefits. Eligible individuals who relocate to Puerto Rico can benefit from a 4% fixed income tax rate, and businesses can benefit from a 4% corporate tax rate, both of which are much lower than in the U.S.. While Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, it is generally exempt from U.S. federal income taxes, so eligible individuals and businesses who relocate to Puerto Rico can benefit from low tax rates.

Danessa is an experienced professional who began her real estate career more than 30 years ago while living in the Pasadena area of Los Angeles County. Working as an escrow officer and loan processor for some of the major Savings & Loans at that time, as well as 7-years at a private investment company in Pasadena, helped to fuel her interest in obtaining her real estate license.
After more than 10 years as a loan officer, she decided to move into real estate sales to further her career and experience in the industry while finishing her college education. She has been with MGR Real Estate in Ontario, CA (a full-service brokerage) since 2008 and has had the privilege and opportunity to further her real estate knowledge by successfully going through their commercial training program.
Danessa grew up in the Pasadena/Altadena area and has lived in the Inland Empire area of Rancho Cucamonga with her husband and family for over 30 years.
