Her podcast, The Real Talk, offers compelling discussions on life, family, divorce, and real estate. Raquel spent seven years working in finance before pivoting to real estate and establishing her current company: Featured Properties International. Shortly after navigating her own divorce and home sale, she decided to specialize in home transactions for divorcing couples. With over a decade of experience in real estate, Raquel is an ideal advocate for her clients. This year, Raquel launched The Real Talk, which combines her thorough knowledge related to real estate and divorce with the expertise of other professionals in fields such as psychology and law. We sat down with Raquel to hear more about her podcast. Haven Team: How did The Real Talk podcast get started? What is the inspiration behind it? Raquel: I’ve always been interested in providing valuable information for people to use and to share. For years, I’ve chosen to write and provide that content via social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Despite my best efforts, I don’t know that people actually read as much these days, and I feel that a lot of it gets lost in cyberspace. Colleagues of mine have insisted I try videos and reels, but I just couldn’t get into it. Then one day, something clicked, and I realized podcasting might be an avenue to explore. I grew really excited about it, which told me I should likely pursue it. The goal has always been to inform, to help and to inspire others, and I hope that this might be a better way to accomplish that.

Tell us more about how these varying perspectives all align under the overarching theme of your podcast. The overarching theme is life, really, which includes family, love, divorce and (most certainly) real estate. Whether you rent or own a home, we all live somewhere. And whether we know it or not, every decision we make directly or indirectly impacts where we live. Unfortunately, most people don’t see it that way and, therefore, fail to plan accordingly. By interviewing a wide range of experts and professionals, I hope to provide insight into matters that inevitably affect how and where we live. Haven Team: Is there a particular episode you’ve published that you’d recommend that listeners start with? I recommend people first tune in to episode 1. Born and raised in Palm Beach, Kyle grew up around his father’s yacht refinishing company who also bought, developed and operated a full-service marina where the Viking Yacht Service Center is now located in Riviera Beach. ARANDA LAUNCHED CONSTRUCTION DYNAMICS, a family-owned business, in 2014. Notably, they worked on the Anglers at Sombrero project in Marathon, overseeing the construction of 52 waterfront duplexes/attached villas and single-family homes.
CONSTRUCTION DYNAMICS has recently shifted its focus toward incorporating vacation rentals as a core part of its business model. They are modifying their plans to accommodate the demand and refining some of their building processes as they progress. Construction Dynamics started with modular building but now utilizes concrete, and exteriors and patios are all poured solid concrete. Vacation rentals are new to Construction Dynamic’s repertoire, and Latitude Twenty-Four marks their first foray into the industry.
